The cast of Dickinson gathers around Hailee Steinfeld in this cute pic from their appearance on Build Series on Thursday (October 31) in New York City.

Jane Krakowski, Ella Hunt, Adrian Enscoe, and Anna Baryshnikov, and showrunner Alena Smith all joined the 23-year-old actress, and executive producer, to promote the new Apple+ series.

“They almost seem like modern-day tweets because they were short and small and on these scraps of paper… so it did seem so today and the mind of today,” Jane, who plays Hailee‘s mother on the series, shared about Emily Dickinson‘s famous poems that are featured in the show.

Hailee Steinfeld and Jane Krakowski join Dickinson creator Alena Smith for a preview event for their show at Apple Regent Street on Tuesday (October 22) in London, England.

The three met up with moderator and journalist Scarlett Russell to discuss the new show, which premieres on November 1st on Apple+.

“I hope that they [my fans] don’t feel like they have to be okay with being unseen, because that’s not okay. You should want to feel understood and good about who you are and what you do and what makes you happy,” Hailee shared with Variety on why Emily Dickinson will be an inspiration to them.

She continued, “I’m so excited that I was given the opportunity to embody this character. I mean, I could have used this a couple of years ago, but I can use every bit of it in my life right now. And I can only hope that other young girls see the show and feel fearless and courageous and can embody that sense of Emily Dickinson, as well.”

Jane added, “I think this show will inspire young women to believe in their own voice, to go after what they want, even if it sometimes feels like the world is saying no. In the same way a Billie Eilish song can make you feel like you belong, I think Emily Dickinson could have the same influence on young girls today.”
