Michelle Williams and Julianne Moore look so pretty as they arrive at the premiere of After the Wedding on Tuesday night (August 6) at the Regal Essex in New York City.

The ladies were joined by co-stars Billy Crudup, Alex Esola, and Abby Quinn as they attended the premiere of their new movie.

Joining Julianne at the premiere was her husband Bart Freundlich and their 21-year-old son Caleb Freundlich.

Other stars at the premiere included Kate Walsh, Keegan-Michael Key and wife Elisa Pugliese, Empire co-creator Danny Strong and longtime love Caitlin Mehner, Orange is the New Black actress Alysia Reiner and husband David Alan Basche, and Broadway star Mike Doyle.

Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams walk the carpet at the premiere of their movie After the Wedding during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Thursday (January 24) in Park City, Utah.

The ladies were joined at the event by their co-stars Abby Quinn, Alex Esola, and Tre Ryder, as well as Julianne‘s husband Bart Freundlich, who wrote and directed the film.

Here is the synopsis: “Seeking funds for her orphanage in India, Isabelle (Williams) travels to New York to meet Theresa (Moore), a wealthy benefactor. An invitation to attend a wedding ignites a series of events in which the past collides with the present while mysteries unravel.”

The movie is a gender-swapped remake of Susanne Bier‘s 2006 movie After the Wedding, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2007 Oscars.
