Zoe Kazan is all smiles as she hits the carpet at the 2017 SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards on Thursday (November 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 34-year-old actress was joined by her Big Sick co-star Kumail Nanjiani and his wife Emily V. Gordon, as well as honoree of the evening Judd Apatow, who was accompanied by his 15-year-old daughter Iris Apatow.

Also in attendance was Anthony Mackie and his Detroit co-stars Malcolm David Kelley, Laz Alonso, Algee Smith and Tyler James Williams as they reunited to honor their director, Kathryn Bigelow, as well as Adam Sandler who hit the stage to introduce honoree Ted Sarandos.

Other stars at the event included Chris O’Dowd and wife Dawn O’Porter, Algee Smith, Malcolm David Kelly, and Ray Liotta who was joined by his ex-wife Michelle.

Rita Ora and John Boyega pose for photos while attending the 2017 Variety Power of Young Hollywood event on Tuesday night (August 8) at TAO Hollywood in Los Angeles.

Both of the stars were honored at the event. John is one of the magazine’s cover stars and Rita was the recipient of the Variety + H&M Conscious Award, which was presented to her by friend Charli XCX.

John was joined at the event by his Detroit co-stars Algee Smith, Kaitlyn Dever, Ben O’Toole, Malcolm David Kelley, and Joseph David-Jones, as well as Moonlight‘s Ashton Sanders.

Rita was seen hanging out with pal Machine Gun Kelly.

The actors celebrated the film on Thursday night (August 3) at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.

They were also joined by their co-stars Anthony Mackie, Algee Smith, Ben O’Toole, Jacob Latimore, Jason Mitchell, Joseph David Jones, Leon Thomas, Malcolm David Kelley, Nathan Davis Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Samira Wiley and Tyler James Williams.

The film’s Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow was also in attendance.

Four stars from the movie Detroit – Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Kaitlyn Dever, and Hannah Murray – are interviewing each other for a new feature in RAW, our new online magazine!

The actors talk about why they think people need to see the film and why it’s so timely, what it was like to work with Oscar winner Kathryn Bigelow, the scenes that were hardest to shoot, and more.

“We as a cast want people to be educated, first of all, about not just black history but American history,” Algee said about why people need to see the movie. “And second, we want people to feel empathy so we wanted just to open up conversation and figure out what we can do within America as a whole and within the world. Try to find a solution for it in the future!”

Algee Smith plays the role of Larry Reed in the new movie Detroit and he just dropped a music video featuring the real-life man who inspired the film!

Larry is a former member of The Dramatics and survivor of the Algiers Motel incident during the Detroit Riots. He has not sung publicly in decades and left the group after the incident at the motel.

Algee and Larry teamed up for a rendition of “Grow” from the Detroit soundtrack.

John Boyega looks handsome as he arrives at the world premiere of his new movie Detroit on Tuesday night (July 25) at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan.

The 25-year-old actor was joined at the premiere by his co-stars Anthony Mackie, Will Poulter, Ben O’Toole, Ephraim Sykes, Leon Thomas III, Nathan Davis Jr, Tyler James Williams, Malcolm David Kelley, Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Jason Mitchell, Hannah Murray, and Kaitlyn Dever.

Detroit is set to hit theaters on August 4.
