Alice Cooper Clarifies He Doesn't Have a 'Suicide Pact' with His Wife

Hollywood Vampires rock star Alice Cooper made headlines over the weekend when he said he had a “death pact” with his wife Sheryl Goddard.

Now, he’s clarifying that he actually has a “life pact.”

“We have a LIFE pact. We love life so much,” he told USA Today. “What I was meaning was that because we’re almost always together, at home and on the road, that if something did happen to either of us, we’d most likely be together at the time. But neither of us has a suicide pact. We have a life pact.”

Sheryl, 61, and Alice, 71, married in 1976 and have three kids together: Calico, 38, Dashiell, 34, and Sonora, 27.

Alice Cooper Reveals He Has a Death Pact With Wife Sheryl Goddard

Alice Cooper is making a grim revelation.

The 71-year-old Hollywood Vampires rocker revealed that he and his wife of 43 years, Sheryl Goddard, made a death pact.

“We are going to go together. We’ve made a pact – there is no way of surviving without each other,” he revealed to the Mirror.

“I couldn’t live without her. We always said there will never be a time when one of us will be mourning the other. Whenever it does happen, we are going to go together,” he went on to say.

Alice and Sheryl got married in March of 1976. Sheryl briefly filed for divorce in 1983, but the couple reconciled by 1984.

Alice recently performed alongside his Hollywood Vampires band members, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry, on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Watch here!
