Alyssa Milano Reveals the COVID-19 Symptoms That Keep Lingering, Months After Her Diagnosis

It has been two months since Alyssa Milano tested positive for COVID-19 and she’s opening up about the symptoms she’s still experiencing.

The 47-year-old actress is making an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, which airs on Friday (October 9).

“My first symptoms were stomach issues and a headache like I’ve never felt before in my life, and just overwhelming fatigue. That lasted for about three days. So I thought to myself, I should probably just go get tested. First test came back negative. I would say, two days after that first test, it settled in my lungs and that’s when it got really scary. I said, ‘This is the moment. Do I go to the hospital, do I go to the emergency room or do I stay home?’” she shared.

Dr. Oz replied, “Let me let me focus on one symptom that I know it’s lingered for months. It’s the extreme hair loss that we looked at early on. What’s it like seeing a part of your body fall out?”

Alyssa said, “It’s hard, especially when you’re an actor and so much of your identity is wrapped up in those things, like having long silky hair and clean skin. Along with that also, I have the brain fog. Which, again, as an actress, as someone who has to memorize dialogue and be able to emote, and respond, and be on my toes, it’s frightening.”

Alyssa previously shared a video to show the hair loss she was experiencing.

Alyssa Milano Is Still Having Heart Palpitations After Coronavirus Recovery

Alyssa Milano is revealing how she’s recovering from Coronavirus.

Alyssa had been facing lingering symptoms of the virus despite testing negative several times, and confirming she has the antibodies. One of her lasting symptoms has been horrifying!

“Soooooo….how are you? This is a wellness check and a health update. I’m ok. I’m starting to physically feel better. I’m still taking an aspirin every 3 days to thin my blood, fish oil, vitamin D, C, zinc and a B complex. I still have occasional heart palpitations. I still forget my words (absolute worst part). But it’s not nearly as bad as it was a few weeks ago,” Alyssa wrote on Instagram. “I feel better. I had a ct scan of my lungs and a cardiac MRI and both were normal. I get super scared sometimes, though. Not of getting sick again but of my loved ones getting sick. I don’t ever want them to have this thing. It’s a beast. So I vacillate between being so grateful and so terrified. Grateful that it was me who got sick and terrified that friends or family will be sick. And I can’t help but wonder—how are you? Please be safe. Please let me know you’re ok.”

We hope Alyssa continues to recover and feels 100% soon!

Rose McGowan Hits Back at Alyssa Milano, Claims She Made 'Charmed' Set 'Toxic AF'

Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano‘s Twitter feud is heating up.

It all started on Friday (August 21) when Alyssa, 47, called out her former Charmed co-star for falsely claiming that the Democrats have achieved nothing for the country.

“Rose and anyone bleating the same ‘dEmOcRaTs DoNt HeLp PeOpLe’ nonsense, your lies are going to hurt people less privileged than you. It’s the kind of thing an ACTUAL fraud would do. Thousands of people are dying a day but you go on with your hyperbolic attention seeking tweets,” Alyssa wrote along with a thread of tweets of things that Democrats have done for the United States.

Rose, 46, then hit back at Alyssa on Twitter, claiming she “stole” the Me Too movement, while also claiming she made the Charmed set a “toxic” work environment.

“1) You stole #metoo (a brilliant communication tool, not a movement) from Tarana. You co-opted my movement, the Cultural Reset, for fame, jealous of me for outing my rapist. You made 250k per week on Charmed. (Con’t)” Rose first tweeted.

“2) You threw a fit in front of the crew, yelling, ‘They don’t pay me enough to do this s–t!’” Rose continued. “Appalling behavior on the daily. I cried every time we got renewed because you made that set toxic AF. Now, get off my coattails you f–king fraud.”

Rose then uploaded a clip from her 2018 with Nightline, where she said she wasn’t a fan of Alyssa‘s, adding, “I don’t like her… ’cause I think she’s a lie.”

In response the clip, Alyssa tweeted, “Do you think we can get #AlyssaMilanoIsALie to trend number 1 before I fall asleep? Everyone saying sweet things—I see you. Thank you. Everyone saying horrible things—I see you. F–ck off. Hurt people hurt people. Empowered people empower people. Loved people love people.”

This isn’t the first time Rose and Alyssa feuded on social media. Earlier this year, Alyssa explained why she had been silent on the allegations against Joe Biden and then Rose went after her.

Alyssa Milano Calls Out Rose McGowan for Saying Democrats 'Have Achieved Nothing,' Gives Proof They Have

Alyssa Milano is calling out her former Charmed co-star Rose McGowan for falsely claiming that the Democrats have achieved nothing.

Rose took to Twitter during the final night of the Democratic National Convention to share her controversial opinion. She tweeted, “What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherf–kers.”

She also wrote, “You are the season of darkness. @JoeBiden @dnc You are monsters. You are frauds. You are the lie.”

Alyssa screenshot that tweet and replied by writing a “thread of all the things the Democratic Party has done to make the world a better place.”

“Rose and anyone bleating the same ‘dEmOcRaTs DoNt HeLp PeOpLe’ nonsense, your lies are going to hurt people less privileged than you. It’s the kind of thing an ACTUAL fraud would do. Thousands of people are dying a day but you go on with your hyperbolic attention seeking tweets,” Alyssa concluded the thread.

Alyssa Milano Is Experiencing Hair Loss From Coronavirus

Earlier this month, Alyssa Milano revealed she tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies after testing negative three times for the actual Coronavirus while she was ill.

Now, Alyssa is revealing the symptoms she’s still dealing with months later including one that she’s showing in real time: hair loss.

“Thought I’d show you what #Covid19 does to your hair. Please take this seriously. #WearADamnMask #LongHauler,” Alyssa captioned a video on her Instagram account. If you don’t know, a long hauler are what COVID-19 survivors are calling themselves when they still face symptoms some time later.

Alyssa Milano Tests Positive for COVID-19 Antibodies After Three Negative Results

Alyssa Milano has tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

The 47-year-old actress took to Instagram on Wednesday (August 5) to share her positive results, while also revealing that she “basically had every Covid symptom” earlier this year, but tested negative for the virus when she was sick.

“This was me on April 2nd after being sick for 2 weeks,” Alyssa wrote along with the below selfie. “I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurt. Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headaches were horrible. I basically had every Covid symptom.”

Alyssa went on to say that she was tested for COVID-19 three times, and all the results came back negative. She then went to her doctor to get the antibody blood test and the results finally came back positive.

“At the very end of march I took two covid19 tests and both were negative. I also took a covid antibody test (the finger prick test) after I was feeling a bit better. NEGATIVE,” Alyssa explained. “After living the last 4 months with lingering symptoms like, vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, zero short term memory, and general malaise, I went and got an antibody test from a blood draw (not the finger prick) from a lab. I am POSITIVE for covid antibodies. I had Covid19. I just want you to be aware that our testing system is flawed and we don’t know the real numbers.”

As she concluded her post, Alyssa begged fans to take this virus serious, while also revealing that she will be donating plasma to help others that are sick.

“I also want you to know, this illness is not a hoax,” Alyssa wrote. “I thought I was dying. It felt like I was dying. I will be donating my plasma with hopes that I might save a life. Please take care of yourselves. Please wash your hands and wear a mask and social distance. I don’t want anyone to feel the way I felt. Be well. I love you all (well, maybe not the trolls. Just the kind people.)❤️”
