Amber Tamblyn made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night (March 5) and dished all about the meaning behind her brand new book, “Era of Ignition“!

“I think everything’s from 2017′s #MeToo movement from the election of Donald Trump, everything just feels like there’s a lot of chaos,” the 35-year-old actress-author expressed. “I think you can find a lot of beauty in the chaos and a lot of clarity in that.”

“So I think what comes after all of that is this idea of an era of ignition, when everyone is really inspired and proactively creating change in their own communities,” Amber continued.

Olivia Munn keeps it chic and sophisticated while attending EMILY’s List 2019 Pre-Oscars Event held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday (February 19) in Los Angeles.

America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn got together backstage in the Heineken Green Room during the 2018 Vulture Festival presented by AT&T at Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday (November 18) in Hollywood, Calif.

The co-stars were joined at the event by Ada Limon, Carmen Maria Machado and Roxane Gay as they hit the stage for their Feminist AF panel.

“Our failsafe pose for 14 years. I’ll never let go Amber Rose, I’ll never let go,” America captioned with her Instagram post. “A fabulous afternoon with @amberrosetamblyn and 3 other phenomenal authors at @vulturefestival ‘s Feminist AF reading. I read an emotional piece from #AmericanLikeMe that I’ve never read out loud before. I made it through! Loved being on stage with these warrior women!”

This is awesome news for fans of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies and books!

A stage musical based on the popular franchise is in the works, though not many details are known just yet.

Blue Spruce Productions, led by 10-time Tony Award-winning producer Scott Delman, has acquired the live theatrical rights to the property.

Alcon Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment, the co-producers of the movies, have the option to invest in and co-produce the stage show, according to THR.

We hope that Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel will be involved somehow!

Amber‘s new nonfiction follows a female rapist and her male victims.

“I was really interested in writing almost an apparition of a female character who couldn’t get caught or touched or even identified, but who wasn’t doing what she was doing out of malice or revenge. She wasn’t getting back at someone,” Amber told The Washington Post. “I wanted to create a female antagonist that threw all of those tropes out the window.”

Greta Gerwig keeps chic and sophisticated in a black suit while hitting the red carpet at the 2018 Miscast Gala Honors Laurie Metcalf event held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday (March 26) in New York City.

The 34-year-old Lady Bird writer-director was joined at the event by the honoree of the evening herself Laurie Metcalf, who was accompanied by her daughters Mae Akins Roth and Zoe Perry.

Also in attendance to show their support was Sara Bareilles, Frozen on Broadway star Caissie Levy, Amber Tamblyn, Alison Pill, and The Band’s Visit star Katrina Lenk.

“Laurie Metcalf is a rock star. She’s basically the definition of fearless. She’s astonishingly inventive and brings every character she plays fully alive,” said MCC Co-Artistic Director Bernard Telsey in a statement. “It was a gift working with her at MCC when she premiered The Other Place with us. But really it’s a gift every time she’s on stage, which fortunately for all of us, she returns to again and again. We’re so excited about honoring her at the next Miscast.”
