Musician and record producer Andrew Watt is 29 years old and he has revealed he finally got diagnosed positive with Coronavirus.
In his lengthy post on Instagram, he revealed that he first came down with symptoms on March 6 and was diagnosed with the flu. His flu was not improving in the slightest, and finally, after being rushed to the emergency room he was “finally given an X-ray” which showed viral pneumonia but still, he was refused a test.
He finally sought out a doctor who was able to test him and it came back positive. He has had chills, sweats, fevers, a dry cough, and started to “become delusional.”
He is also using an oxygen machine to give his lungs some relief. Andrew also noted he had only been back and forth to the studio, and still caught the highly contagious virus.
“I am a healthy young man and I am going to get through this no matter what. But…there are so many people in my life and in the world that could possibly not get through this due to their age and/or a compromised immune system…this is why I am writing this post. I can’t stress this enough…This is not a joke. Stay inside, stay sanitized. Please stop evereything and take care of yourselves and the people you love around you until we are all through this. To have the mentality ‘I’m young this can’t affect me’ is just straight up stupid,” he posted.
Many other celebrities keep getting diagnosed with COVID-19 as well.
If you aren’t familiar with Andrew Watt, he most recently was the main producer of Ozzy Osbourne‘s album Ordinary Man which was released a few weeks ago. He’s also known for his work with Post Malone.
