AMC has given a premiere date for the latest series in The Walking Dead franchise!

The Walking Dead: World Beyond, which is the second spin-off series in the franchise, will premiere on April 12 at 10/9c following the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead.

World Beyond will move to its regular time slot of Sundays at 9/8c for its second episode and all further episodes.

Here is the show’s official synopsis: “Two sisters along with two friends leave a place of safety and comfort to brave dangers, known and unknown, living and undead on an important quest. Pursued by those who wish to protect them and those who wish to harm them, a tale of growing up and transformation unfurls across dangerous terrain, challenging everything they know about the world, themselves and each other. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. But all of them will find the truths they seek.”

The Walking Dead: World Beyond stars Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Nico Tortorella, and Julia Ormond.

Nico Tortorella joined the cast of The Walking Dead Universe at 2019 New York Comic-Con!

The 31-year-old actor stepped out for the panel for the new Walking Dead spinoff on Saturday (October 5) at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

He was joined by his co-stars Hal Cumpston, Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru and Nicolas Cantu.

During the panel, the cast revealed the first trailer for the series which will “focus on the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.”

The Walking Dead Universe is set to premiere in the spring of 2020.

Aaron Eckhart and Amanda Peet walk the red carpet at the premiere of the new Amazon series The Romanoffs on Thursday (October 11) in New York City.

The Romanoffs is a contemporary anthology series set around the globe featuring eight separate stories about people who believe themselves to be descendants of the Russian royal family. The show premieres on October 12.

Each episode is essentially a mini-movie with a different story and a different cast, More stars who attended the premiere included Diane Lane, Jack Huston, Paul Reiser, Radha Mitchell, Corey Stoll, Kerry Bishe, Marthe Keller, Jon Tenney with wife Leslie Urdang, Cara Buono, Annet Mahendru, Janet Montgomery, Ines Melab, James Naughton, JJ Feild, and Mike Doyle.

Series creator Matthew Weiner, best known for creating Mad Men, was also in attendance.

The Montblanc presented-event was held in support of the Urban Arts Partnership, which uses the arts to address educational inequity and provide great opportunities for students in undeserved schools.

Diane Kruger and Keri Russell meet up on the red carpet at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Television Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (June 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The ladies were joined at the event by the leading men from their respective series, The Bridge‘s Demian Bichir and The Americans‘ Matthew Rhys, as well as Annet Mahendru.
