SPOILER ALERT! Do not continue reading if you have not watched the season finale of The Good Wife yet.

The season six finale of The Good Wife aired and featured a long awaited scene between Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and Alicia (Julianna Margulies). It has been more than fifty episodes since the two were featured in a scene together!

This was Archie‘s final appearance on the show, and it ended with their scene. Read the dialogue below.

Kalinda: “My time with you as your friend was the best I ever had, and I’m sorry. I’m really sorry that things got messed up.”
Alicia: “I wish we had the chance to do it over again,”
Kalinda: “I have to go.”
Alicia: “I’ll never see you again?”
Kalinda: “I don’t think so.”
Alicia: “That’s too bad.”
Kalinda: “I, um [nods], goodbye.”
Alicia: “Bye.”

Fans were so curious as to why Alicia and Kalinda did not have more scenes together.

“I think that’s a question you need to ask the producers,” Archie told EW about the lack of scenes between the two characters. “What is great is that relationship between the two women is one of the best relationships on TV, in terms of it being the most honest. Hopefully, you may see something of that before I leave.”

Zachary Levi bundles up in a red scarf while hitting up the opening night of Broadway’s Honeymoon in Vegas at the Nederlander Theatre on Thursday (January 15) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actor was joined at the event by The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi, as well as Bette Midler, Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman.

Honeymoon in Vegas tells the story of Jack, a Brooklynite with an extreme fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy to marry him. But when smooth-talking gambler Tommy – looking for a second chance at love – falls head over heels for Betsy, Jack must go to extreme heights to win back the love of his life.

The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi will be leaving the show after this season because she signed a development/holding deal with 20th Century Fox Television, THR reports.

“Archie is an Emmy Award-winning dramatic actress, and rightly so. Her work on The Good Wife has been extraordinary, and the time has come for her to star in a project of her own,” 20th exec vp casting Sharon Klein said in a statement. “We couldn’t be happier that it will be with us.”

“Archie is an amazing actress who helped build Kalinda from the ground up as an enigmatic, powerful and sexy character. It’s been a pleasure to write for her, and we’ll be sad to see her go; but we still have her for the rest of season six, so let’s not exhaust our goodbyes yet,” Robert and Michelle King, The Good Wife show runners, said in a statement. “We look forward to meeting all the wonderful new characters Archie brings to the screen. But either way, we’re keeping the boots.”

Archie Panjabi and Chandra Wilson walk the red carpet at the 2014 NAACP Image Awards held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday evening (February 22) in Pasadena, Calif.

The ladies were joined at the show by Tika Sumpter, Regina King, and Nia Long.

Archie was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on The Good Wife. Chandra and Regina were nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for their work on Grey’s Anatomy and Southland, respectively. Nia was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for House of Lies.

Keri Russell and Emily Mortimer hit the red carpet at the 2014 Writers Guild Awards East Coast Ceremony held at the Edison Ballroom on Saturday (February 1) in New York City.

The ladies were joined by Keri‘s The Americans co-star Matthew Rhys, Emily‘s husband Alessandro Nivola, Ethan Hawke, The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi, and Orange Is the New Black‘s Kate Mulgrew.

Keri was in attendance to support her show The Americans, which was nominated for Best New Series. It lost to House of Cards.

Emily was in attendance to support her hubby Alessandro and his movie American Hustle, which was up for Best Original Screenplay, but lost to Her.

Behati Prinsloo shows off her smile on the carpet at the American Hustle screening held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Sunday (December 8) in New York City.

The 24-year-old model was joined at the event by Patrick Wilson, Taryn Manning, Carla Gugino, Louis CK, Jack Huston, Nasim Pedrad, Archia Panjabi, Kelly Rutherford, and designer Prabal Gurung.

Julianna Margulies gets to work helping The St. Bernard Project while giving back for the 100th episode celebration of her show The Good Wife on Saturday afternoon (October 26) in New York City.

The 47-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Chris Noth, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, and Josh Charles.
