Fans were shocked to learn that Arden Cho was not returning for the Teen Wolf revival movie on Paramount Plus.
Her character – Kira Yukimura – recurred in season three of the MTV show and was a series regular in seasons four and five.

The 36-year-old Teen Wolf actress is set to star in Partner Track for Netflix, an adaptation of Helen Wan‘s 2013 novel, Deadline confirmed.

Arden Cho has revealed that she is the victim of a racially motivated attack.
The 35-year-old Teen Wolf actress took to her Instagram on Thursday (April 1) to detail how a man started screaming racist obscenities at her while she was walking her dog Chewy, recalling how the man said he was going to “motherf–king kill” her and her “f–king dog.”
“This along with other obscenities were screamed at me when I was outside walking my dog last night,” Arden wrote. “I haven’t been this scared in years, he was couple feet away & started coming towards me. I grabbed Chewy and ran as fast as I could. I’m not crying anymore but I’m still scared, I’m still shaking.”
Arden went on to share how scared she has been these past several months, amid the rise in Asian and Pacific Islander hate crimes.
“I used to run at night, I haven’t ran in months,” Arden continued. “I still have to walk my dog, so I carry a knife when we go out at night. I know how to fight but I still don’t feel safe. I’m young & fit, I shouldn’t be scared but I am.”
Arden then said that all of the racially motivated attacks across the country have brought back “all my trauma” she experienced as a child.
“All my trauma as a kid has been coming back as I’m watching our elders get beaten and killed. I’ve been kicked in the face till I was unconscious and hospitalized, I was only a child,” Arden recalled. “I didn’t realize how much that incident shaped my life. How much fear I’ve always lived with.”
In the post’s caption, Arden begged people to “please #StopAsianHate,” adding that her mom is “so scared to walk outside.”
“Please, please #StopAsianHate I can’t breathe. It feels like I’m 10 again & I’m being kicked to death,” Arden wrote. “My mom called me & I couldn’t help but start crying again. She’s so scared to walk outside, even in the day time. I’m sorry mom. She wants me to be strong. So I’ll try. Please help us.”
Just recently, this Asian-American actor gave an impassioned speech to end all of the anti-Asian violence.

The cast of Teen Wolf will reunite on Friday, June 5 as part of MTV Reunions in honor of the show’s anniversary.

The reunion will be hosted by MTV News‘ Josh Horowitz, and will benefit First Responders First Charity. You can watch it on the official MTV YouTube channel, as well as the Teen Wolf official social accounts.
MTV Reunions will be a recurring series that allows fans of TV shows seeing their favorite stars reuniting to raise money for charity.
