Some of Hollywood’s best and brightest stars walked the red carpet at the world premiere of The Color Purple on Wednesday night (December 6) in Los Angeles.

The movie’s stars – including Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Halle Bailey, Ciara and H.E.R. -arrived at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures dressed in their chicest outfits.

They were joined by so many other celebrities, who showed support at the big event. The guestlist included Oprah Winfrey (who acted as a producer for the movie), Ariana DeBose, Chloe Bailey, Quinta Brunson and so many others.

Chris Pine and Ariana DeBose are starring in Disney’s new animated movie Wish, and they’re opening up about their earliest, very relatable, crushes on animated characters.

The new Disney movie Wish features a song where the lead character Asha sings with a bunch of talking animals and plants… and it’s one of the most enjoyable moments of the movie!

Ariana DeBose‘s Asha and the cast perform “I’m a Star” when the special star comes down to grant some wishes.

The star grants the power of speech to Asha’s goat Valentino, voiced by Alan Tudyk, and all of the animals and plants in the forest.

“Well, you don’t have to look too hard / We’re here for all your question marks / If you’re tryna figure out just who you are / Don’t look far / In the sky, and your front yard / In your heart and in the scars / If you really wanna know just who you are / You’re a star,” they lyrics read.

Ariana DeBose stars in the new Disney movie Wish as the lead character Asha and she performs a beautiful song called “This Wish” near the top of the film!

This is the big “I want” song that sets the tone for the movie and pushes Asha on her journey to help the people of her city Rosas get their wishes back.

The stars of Disney’s Wish are out to celebrate the film’s premiere!

The event was held on Monday (November 20) at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London.

Ariana DeBose, who voices and sings as Asha in Wish, headlined the red-carpet premiere. The Oscar-winner dazzled in a purple gown.

Julia Michaels, who wrote original songs for the movie, was also present at the premiere, as was singer Rochelle Humes.

Also in attendance were producers Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones and Peter Del Vecho, executive producer Jennifer Lee, and co-directors Fawn Veerasunthorn, and Chris Buck.

Disney’s Wish opens in theaters on November 22.
