'Avengers' Cast Tattoo - Robert Downey Jr. Reveals Who Got It First, Who 'Overreacted to the Pain' & Who Doesn't Have It

Robert Downey Jr. spilled some tea on the tattoo he shares with his fellow original Avengers.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is massive now. However, at the start it centered around his Iron Man, Chris Evans‘ Captain America, Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk and Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor.

If you were unaware, five of the six members of the core cast decided to get a group tattoo after the release of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. The movie was one of the final ones that they all appeared in together, and the tattoo commemorates their bond.

During a segment on Wired earlier this year, Robert opened up about the tattoo, revealing some additional details. For instance, he confirmed which member of the cast opted out of getting inked and which was seemingly hesitant. He even revealed who was brave enough to go first.

Following the news about a possible reunion of the original six Avengers, we revisited Robert’s revelations!

Marvel Is Talking About Bringing All 6 Original 'Avengers' Back, Bombshell Report Also Addresses What Could Happen to Jonathan Majors' Kang & Mahershala Ali's 'Blade'

A big new report was just published about the fate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If you don’t know, box office numbers have largely dropped for the latest few Marvel films. Tracking for The Marvels, starring Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, is looking about $100 million less than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ $185 million opening box office debut.

The report also notes that fans have become less-than-impressed with some of the visual effects in recent films. Apparently, one CGI sequence in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania caused shockwaves at the film’s premiere.

“There were at least 10 scenes where the visual effects had been added at the last minute and were out of focus,” one insider said. “It was insane. I’ve never seen something like that in my entire career. Everyone was talking about it. Even the kids of executives were talking about it.”

Now, a new report is musing what could happen…including bringing back the original Avengers!

Who Is The Richest Avenger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The Top Earner Has The Lead by $50 Million!

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe know that there is always a running debate about who is the strongest Avenger. That’s one of those questions that has a lot of different answers, but we’re posing a different one today: Who is the richest member of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes based on their estimated net worth?

Since assembling for the first time in 2012′s The Avengers, the lineup of the team has constantly changed between movies.

Of course, fans know and love the core group – Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye). However, so many other favorites have been added on along the way.

The cast is made up of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. But who has amassed the largest approximate net worth over the years? We did some digging and put together a ranking from lowest to highest. With a net worth $50 million higher than the second earner, it’s safe to say that we have a clear winner!

How did we decide who to include as a member of the Avengers? We dubbed anyone who fought with the team in the final battle against Thanos in Avengers: Endgame a member of the team and added some other notable heroes who didn’t make it that far.

Chris Pratt Auditioned for at Least 2 Other Marvel Roles Before Landing Star-Lord in 'Guardians'

Chris Pratt so perfectly embodies Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies that it’s hard to imagine anyone else playing the plucky space hero.

However, we recently learned that it wasn’t the first role that the 43-year-old actor auditioned for within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I auditioned for them all. I had a rough run with Marvel,” Chris said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this year. “It got to the point where I was never gonna audition for Marvel again. I was like, ‘This is stupid, I’m never gonna be in a Marvel movie.’”

He got more specific, revealing at least two movies within the franchise that he auditioned for but didn’t get. Chris also spoke about a couple of other popular franchises that turned him down.

Which of Marvel's 6 Original Avengers Do You Most Want Back for Another Movie? Vote In Our Poll!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded to include so many heroes. However, fans will always hold the six original Avengers close to their heart.

Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) assembled for the first time in 2012′s The Avengers. Some of them seemingly bowed out – or been killed off in the universe – with 2019′s Avenger’s Endgame.

Over the years, each of the heroes was able to take center stage, whether it be in a standalone movie (or three) or a Disney+ series.

Since Endgame, it appears that the MCU is setting up for a new generation to run the game. That includes a group who has assumed the mantles that were previously held by some of the original stars.

Florence Pugh is seemingly stepping up to be a new Black Widow. Hailee Steinfeld could be the next Hawkeye. Anthony Mackie has already become Captain America and is in the process of filming his first solo movie. Dominique Thorne could easily be on the path to become the next Iron Man after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Tatiana Maslany followed in Mark’s footsteps to become She-Hulk. Natalie Portman even briefly assumed the title of The Mighty Thor.

Several of the original six have made it clear that they are likely done with the franchise. The future for others is more unclear.

Either way, we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to the group just yet and would love to see so many of them reprise their roles in some way.

We also want to know which of the cast you would most like to see come back so we put together a poll!
