Sad news for fans of the Freeform series Baby Daddy – the show has been canceled after six seasons on the network.

Sources told THR that the network had unofficially given Baby Daddy a seventh season, but changed decided against it after Yara Shahidi‘s Black-ish spinoff became a possibility for Freeform.

Baby Daddy will end with its 100th episode on May 22. The season six finale will now serve as the series finale.

Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Derek Theler, Tahj Mowry, Melissa Peterman, and Chelsea Kane fronted the series about a man (Bilodeau) who gets help from his friends and family in raising a baby left at his door after a one-night stand.

Derek Theler shows off his ripped shirtless body in this new picture he shared after winning the Baby Daddy cast tweet-off on Wednesday (May 29).

The 26-year-old actor and his co-stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Tahj Mowry, Chelsea Kane, and Melissa Peterman battled each other during the show’s season premiere that evening to see who could get the most followers.

“Ok people, post workout selfie if I win this…… tell your friends!” Derek tweeted to bribe his fans for more followers. He later added, “As promised, Thanks for the support #teamderek”

Matt Dallas joins Baby Daddy cast members Derek Theler, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, and Tahj Mowry in doing his classic Kyle XY abs flash pose in these behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Baby Daddy.

Matt, 30, will be guest starring on the episode “There’s Something Fitchy Going On,” in which Ben (Bilodeau) suspects Riley’s (Chelsea Kane) new love interest (Dallas) is too good to be true. The episode airs on Wednesday, June 5 at 8:30 ET/PT on ABC Family!
