SuperM is ready to go!

The newly announced K-pop all-star SM Entertainment group, composed of various members of already successful boy bands, unveiled their official social media accounts on the same day of the big reveal (August 7) at Capitol Congress 2019 in Los Angeles.

The seven members of the group are: Taemin from SHINee, EXO’s Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127‘s Taeyong and Mark, and Lucas and Ten of Chinese band WayV.

“#WeAreTheFuture #SuperM #TAEMIN #BAEKHYUN #KAI #TAEYONG #MARK #LUCAS #TEN #SMTOWN @SMTOWNGLOBAL,” the group tweeted with their new account, @superm_smtown.

SuperM is taking over!

The highly anticipated K-pop all-star group was just unveiled on Wednesday (August 7) at 2019 Capitol Congress in Los Angeles.

The group is a partnership between Soo-Man Lee, founder of SM Entertainment, Capitol Music Group and independent distribution and label services division Caroline.

The seven members of the group are: Taemin from SHINee, EXO’s Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127‘s Taeyong and Mark, and Lucas and Ten of Chinese band WayV.

The group will launch in the United States in October of 2019, including first music releases and a debut live performance. Capitol and Caroline will provide “comprehensive marketing, promotion and publicity campaigns in support of SuperM.”

“We have put together 7 super talented artists to perform differentiated music. SuperM will show you the core values of K-pop with music performance, fashion, and videos. All on a completely different scale, each with exceptional talent in dance, vocal, and rap,” said Soo-Man Lee.

Instagram has announced the most popular Korean accounts in the 2018 Instagram Awards as of Thursday (December 20).

The awards included six categories: Most Loved Account, Top 10 Accounts, Account With Most Growth, Top Boy Group, Top Girl Group, and Photo With Most Likes.

BLACKPINK’s “Solo” star Jennie won Most Loved Account of 2018, which was based on views and likes of Stories and posts.

“I’m always thankful that [fans] are interested in my Instagram. Please keep an eye out for my Instagram, as I will be sharing more memories,” she said of the win.

BTS won the Top Boy Group category and BLACKPINK won Top Girl Group.

BTS also won Photo With the Most Likes for their picture at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, and their fandom, the ARMY, won Top Fandom Community.

The categories include Top 5 Accounts and Most-Loved Account. The photo service also revealed the K-Pop celebrity photo and video with the most love this year.

This year’s most popular Instagrammers include members of EXO, BIGBANG and Girls’ Generation. Can you guess who took the popularity prizes this year?

Chanyeol won for both photo and video with the most likes.

In addition, JBJ‘s Kwon Hyun Bin won the award for Account With the Most Growth in 2017.

EXO are robot-blasting intergalactic superheroes!

The nine member K-Pop troupe just unveiled the music video for “Power,” the title track of The War: The Power of Music, the highly anticipated repackage of their fourth studio album The War, out today (September 5).

The boys of EXO all take turns battling a mechanical bad guy in the highly entertaining and campy, Star Wars-esque video for the LDN Noise-produced track, but it takes the superpower of all nine combined to finally defeat the foe once and for all. They’ve got that power!

The repackage of The War includes new tracks “Power,” “Sweet Lies” and “Boomerang.”
