The Old Man is a FX drama series based on Thomas Perry’s bestselling book, and it’s a hit!

The show premiered in June 2023 on Hulu, and was the most-watched cable series premiere since January 2021, and was the most-watched FX series debut on Hulu in its opening weekend. By the end of the same month, the show was renewed for a second season.

The series follows Dan Chase, played by Jeff Bridges, who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future he now must reconcile his past.

Although the Hollywood strikes caused a delay in production on the second season, the show is still set to move forward with Season 2, and we know several stars expected to return.

The Old Man is coming back!

The FX drama series, based on Thomas Perry’s bestselling book, launched in June 22 on Hulu, and was the most-watched cable series premiere since January 2021, and was the most-watched FX series debut on Hulu in its opening weekend. By June of that year, the show was renewed for a second season.

Jesse Williams is talking about that infamous shower scene in his Broadway show Take Me Out.

In case you missed it, the 41-year-old Grey’s Anatomy alum appears nude in the shower while onstage. He joked about the experience at Variety‘s The Business of Broadway event, which he attended with his castmates on Monday (October 17) in New York City.

Jeff Bridges stands tall above his two canine co-stars, Freya and Cain, at the premiere of their new FX on Hulu series, The Old Man, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Wednesday night (June 8) in Los Angeles.

Freya and Cain had quite a fun time on the red carpet where they had their pictures taken just after running up and down the walkway.

Series stars John Lithgow, Amy Brenneman, E.J. Bonilla, Alia Shawkat, Kenneth Mitchell, Pej Vahdat, Gbenga Akinnagbe, and Bill Heck were also seen at the premiere with series director Jon Watts, executive producers Dan Shotz, Robert Levine, and Warren Littlefield, and EP/writer Jonathan E. Steinberg.

Based on the bestselling novel by Thomas Perry, The Old Man centers on Dan Chase who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since.

The Old Man will debut on June 16 on FX. You can stream the series on Hulu.

The first season of Amazon Prime’s I Know What You Did Last Summer will also be its last.

Deadline reports that the streamer has chosen not to renew the thriller series for a second season.

Inspired by the book by Lois Duncan and the 1997 film, the I Know What You Did Last Summer series takes place in a town full of secrets where a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.

The show starred Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom and Bill Heck, with Sonya Balmores and Spencer Sutherland.

The series premiered on Amazon Prime on October 15, 2021, with the first four episodes.

I Know What You Did Last Summer is now a television series for Amazon Prime Video and we have photos of the cast on the red carpet at the L.A. premiere!

Madison Iseman, Ezekiel Goodman, and Ashley Moore joined forces at the premiere on Wednesday night (October 13) at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles.

Other cast members in attendance included Chrissie Fit, Spencer Sutherland, Danielle Delaunay, Sebastian Amoruso, Bill Heck, Cassie Beck, and Fiona Rene.

Here is the show’s synopsis: “One year after the fatal car accident that haunted their graduation night, a group of teenagers find themselves bound together by a dark secret and stalked by a brutal killer. As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly.”

The trailer for Locke and Key‘s second season has finally debuted!

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.

The series stars Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Bill Heck as Rendell Locke, Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Sherri Saum as Ellie Whedon, Thomas Mitchell Barnet as Sam Lesser, Griffin Gluck as Gabe, and Coby Bird as Rufus Whedon.

The show will debut season two on October 22, 2021 on Netflix.
