Gina Carano had so much to say about her experience being fired from The Mandalorian, her ensuring lawsuit with Elon Musk and her place in Hollywood in a revealing interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

If you forgot, the 41-year-old actress and former MMA star was fired by Lucasfilm in 2021 as a result of controversial social media posts.

Three years later, she filed a lawsuit against Disney and Lucasfilm over her termination from the Star Wars franchise and perceived damages to her career.

During her conversation with the outlet, Gina reflected on her response to being fired and the decision to sue. She was also asked if there is a monetary amount that she is seeking in damages from the entertainment companies and what the future holds for her.

She also had some details to share about her experience on The Mandalorian, including how the companies reacted to her controversies, specifics about her pay and her relationship with costar Pedro Pascal. Gina even revealed the last time that they spoke and details of their conversation.

Disney CEO Bob Iger is sharing his thoughts on the box-office performance of The Marvels.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest movie failed to attract the masses, as it scored the lowest opening weekend of any of the franchise’s titles, earning just $47 million domestically. The Marvels then recorded the MCU’s largest second-weekend drop, falling 78% from the previous week.

Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvels serves as the sequel to 2019′s Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson as the titular hero. Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris joined the cast of The Marvels as co-leads, playing Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Captain Monica Rambeau, respectively

Bob Iger Extends Disney Contract, Will Remain CEO Through 2026

Bob Iger is staying with Disney.

The 72-year-old exec will remain in place as Walt Disney Company’s CEO through 2026, confirming he would not step down as CEO at the end of next year as originally planned.

“Time and again, Bob has shown an unparalleled ability to successfully transform Disney to drive future growth and financial returns, earning him a reputation as one of the world’s best CEOs,” said chairman Mark G. Parker in a statement.

Bob has once again set Disney on the right strategic path for ongoing value creation, and to ensure the successful completion of this transformation while also allowing ample time to position a new CEO for long-term success, the Board determined it is in the best interest of shareholders to extend his tenure, and he has agreed to our request to remain Chief Executive Officer through the end of 2026.”

Bob Iger returned to his role as the CEO of The Walt Disney Company in late 2022 and he will be eligible for a HUGE pay package for the next two years. Get the details on his salary.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has revolved around a core group of character for years now. However, Disney’s CEO Bob Iger is suggesting that will change in the coming years.

He opened up about the future of the MCU during a meeting at Morgan Stanley’s 2023 Technology Media and Telecom Conference on Thursday (March 9).

In it, he hinted at a change to the lineup of heroes that will be suiting up to save the day, suggesting that fans would be seeing less of the same characters.

Oscars Luncheon 2023: See Every Nominated Star Who Attended the Celebration!

Every year, the stars nominated for awards at the Oscars gather for a celebratory luncheon ahead of the show and 2023′s event just took place!

Tom Cruise, Austin Butler, Cate Blanchett, and Michelle Yeoh were just some of the nominated celebs in attendance at the 2023 Oscars Nominees Luncheon on Monday afternoon (February 13) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Out of the acting nominees, 17 out of 20 nominated stars showed up for the event with Blonde‘s Ana de Armas, To Leslie‘s Andrea Riseborough, and The Banshees of Inisherin‘s Barry Keoghan not in attendance.

'Avatar' 2 Cast Attends L.A. Premiere Sans James Cameron - See the Red Carpet Photos!

The cast of Avatar: The Way of Water stepped out in full force for the film’s L.A. premiere!

Sam Worthingon, Zoe Saldana, and more walked the carpet at the Dolby Theater on Monday night (December 12) in Hollywood.

More cast members in attendance included Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, Jamie Flatters, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, and Bailey Bass, as well as producer Jon Landau and Disney CEO Bob Iger.

The film’s director James Cameron was unable to attend after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.  

The movie hits theaters on Friday!
