Queen are apparently looking at ideas for a Bohemian Rhapsody sequel.

In a new Instagram Live, Queen guitarist Brian May changed his stance on the possibilities for a second movie.

Bohemian Rhapsody was a massive success – so is a sequel in the works?

Queen‘s Roger Taylor spoke out about speculation of a sequel to the Rami Malek-starring blockbuster hit in an interview with Daily Express.

“Right now it’s not something I’d like to see,” the 70-year-old drummer said.

“I don’t think it’s particularly a good idea. Just because something’s been successful, I don’t think one should necessarily have part two. I think that only really worked once and that was with The Godfather!”

“I don’t see a great story there. I think we told the really good story and I wouldn’t like to be thought of, of just putting something out to sort of cash in. So right now, no,” he continued.

Taron Egerton and Rami Malek are the stars of the hottest music biopics to be released in the past year and they recently met up!

Rami, the Oscar-winning star of Bohemian Rhapsody, attended the premiere of Rocketman earlier this week in New York City.

Dexter Fletcher, who directed Taron in Rocketman, was brought in to finish Bohemian Rhapsody after director Bryan Singer was fired from the project.

Taron and Rami posed for some photos at the after party for the NYC premiere and the worlds of both movies are totally colliding. Who else wants to see Freddie Mercury and Elton John together in a movie now?!

Rami‘s co-stars Gwilym Lee, Joseph Mazzello, and Ben Hardy – who played the other members of the band Queen – were also spotted on the red carpet.

Bohemian Rhapsody picked up the award for Best Sound as well.

GLAAD has announced that the movie Bohemian Rhapsody is no longer eligible to receive an Outstanding Film nomination at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards following the allegations of sexual assault and misconduct made against the film’s director Bryan Singer.

The nominations for the awards will be announced on Friday morning (January 25), but do not expect to see the Queen biopic represented.

“In light of the latest allegations against director Bryan Singer, GLAAD has made the difficult decision to remove Bohemian Rhapsody from contention for a GLAAD Media Award in the Outstanding Film – Wide Release category this year. This week’s story in The Atlantic documenting unspeakable harms endured by young men and teenage boys brought to light a reality that cannot be ignored or even tacitly rewarded,” GLAAD said in a statement to Variety.

“Singer’s response to The Atlantic story wrongfully used ‘homophobia’ to deflect from sexual assault allegations and GLAAD urges the media and the industry at large to not gloss over the fact that survivors of sexual assault should be put first,” the statement continued.

Time’s Up also spoke out in tandem, saying, “The recent allegations regarding Bryan Singer’s behavior are horrifying and MUST be taken seriously and investigated.”

Bohemian Rhapsody just received five Oscar nominations, including one for Best Picture.

Adam Lambert is in Bohemian Rhapsody!

The 36-year-old superstar confirmed the surprising news on Friday (January 11).

Adam has an uncredited cameo as “The Trucker” in the Golden Globe award-winning film.

“Who is he!? 😏😂 #BohemianRhapsodyMovie is available for digital download on 1/22!” he tweeted along with a picture of his character from the film.

Queen and Adam have recently announced that they’re going back on tour with the Rhapsody Tour, taking place in Summer 2019 with 23 shows all around the United States and Canada. See the dates!

Rami, who was joined at the event by girlfriend and co-star Lucy Boynton, thanked Queen and the late Freddie Mercury during his speech.

“Thank you to Freddie Mercury for giving me the joy of a lifetime. I love you, you beautiful man. This is for and because of you gorgeous,” he said.
