'Palm Royale': Kristen Wiig Joins 9 Big Stars in Apple TV+ Show - Full Cast, Trailer & Premiere Date Revealed!

Kristen Wiig is leading a new TV show called Palm Royale on Apple TV+, and it already looks amazing!

Per Apple, Palm Royale is a true underdog story that follows Maxine Simmons (Wiig) as she endeavors to break into Palm Beach high society. As Maxine attempts to cross that impermeable line between the haves and the have-nots, Palm Royale asks the same question that still baffles us today: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?” Set during the powder keg year of 1969, Palm Royale is a testament to every outsider fighting for their chance to truly belong.

Palm Royale premieres on Apple TV+ on March 20, and features a ton of stars on the cast.

The film also stars Margarita Levieva, Owen Teague, Valorie Curry, Chandler Riggs, Brad William Henke, Tara Buck, Dash Mihok and Bruce Dern.

Here’s a plot summary: for siblings Kip (Hartnett) and Josie (Levieva), dealing opioids isn’t just their family business—it’s their only means of survival. When a deal goes fatally wrong, Kip decides he wants out. But Kip’s attempt to escape his family’s legacy ignites a powder keg of violence and betrayal, imperiling Kip, Josie, and their younger brother, Boots (Teague), in this searing crime-thriller that builds to a shattering conclusion.

The movie hits select theaters, on demand and digital on January 10, 2020.

Dakota Johnson Sets Sail on 'Peanut Butter Falcon' Official Poster

Written and directed by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz, it stars Dakota Johnson, Shia LaBeouf, Zack Gottsagen, John Hawkes, Thomas Haden Church, Jon Bernthal, and Bruce Dern.

Here’s the synopsis: “A modern Mark Twain style adventure story, The Peanut Butter Falcon tells the story of Zak (Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a residential nursing home to follow his dream of attending the professional wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Church).”

It continues, “A strange turn of events pairs him on the road with Tyler (LaBeouf), a small time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together they wind through deltas, elude capture, drink whiskey, find God, catch fish, and convince Eleanor (Johnson), a kind nursing home employee charged with Zak’s return, to join them on their journey.”

New 'Chappaquiddick' Trailer Gives Another Look at Jason Clarke as Ted Kennedy

The new trailer for the upcoming movie Chappaquiddick gives a fresh look at Jason Clarke as U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy during one of the tragic moments of his life.

Chappaquiddick recounts the events of the 1969 car accident involving Kennedy and a young, female campaign worker (Kate Mara) who died at the scene. Kennedy left the scene of the accident and didn’t alert authorities for ten hours.

The film was originally supposed to be released on December 8, but the release date was pushed to April 6.

Ed Helms, Jim Gaffigan, Olivia Thirlby, and Bruce Dern also star in the movie.

Dakota Johnson Lands Role in Indie Film 'Peanut Butter Falcon'

Dakota Johnson has landed a role in the upcoming film The Peanut Butter Falcon.

The 27-year-old actress will join Shia LaBeouf, as well as Bruce Dern in the indie film from Tyler Nilson and Mike Schwartz, who wrote and will direct.

The Peanut Butter Falcon follows a down on his luck crab fisherman as he embarks on a journey to get a young man with Down syndrome to a professional wresting school in rural North Carolina and away from the retirement home where he’s lived most of his life. Zachary Gottsagen, who was the inspiration for the movie, will play the role of Zak.

The film will begin production later this week in Georgia!

Marion Cotillard stuns as she arrives on the red carpet at the 2016 Governors Awards on Saturday (November 12) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.

The 41-year-old Allied actress showed off her growing baby bump in a lace black dress. Also in attendance at the event was fellow Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren.

Channing Tatum Suits Up For 'The Hateful Eight' NYC Premiere!

Channing Tatum is dapper in suit while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film The Hateful Eight on Monday (December 14) in New York City.

The 35-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Bruce Dern, as well as Gabourey Sidibe, Sam Rockwell, Piper Perabo, Alan Cumming, Christian Slater, Nico Tortorella, Zachary Levi, Kevin Corrigan, Paul Haggis and Alex Lundqvist, who all came out to show their support.

The Hateful Eight, which is hitting theaters on Christmas Day, will be released with two versions. One was shot on 70 mm film format, has an overture and an intermission, and is displayed exactly how Quentin Tarantino originally intended for its 3 hour 2 minute running time.
