The Flash is getting a new villain!

It was just announced that Chris Klein has been cast as Cicada during the show’s panel at 2018 San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

Chris will be a series regular in the upcoming fifth season as the new villain in Central City, who is described as “a grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family has been torn apart by metahumans, Cicada now seeks to exterminate the epidemic — one metahuman at a time.”

The Flash season five trailer was also released. The show will return Tuesday, October 9th on The CW. Watch below!

Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards share a romantic kiss while filming a scene for The Flash and Arrow‘s crossover episode on Tuesday (October 10) in Vancouver, Canada.

Also spotted on set were Grant Gustin and Candice Patton and photographers on location say that the two on-screen couples were filming a double wedding scene on the waterfront!

This isn’t yet confirmed, but it would be very exciting if this is indeed true. EPs Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti both teased that the crossover would feature life events.

“It’s a big life event for a few different people on the show…there are many life events that happen.”

So many stars stepped out to represent The CW network at EW’s Comic-Con 2017 party!

In attendance were The Originals actress Phoebe Tonkin, as well as Riverdale‘s KJ Apa and Cole Sprouse.

Also seen at the party were their Riverdale co-stars Lili Reinhart, Casey Cott, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray, and Camila Mendes.

Legends of Tomorrow‘s Caity Lotz and Brandon Routh, The Flash‘s Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker, Arrow‘s Willa Holland and Katie Cassidy, The 100‘s Eliza Taylor, Lindsey Morgan, and Marie Avgeropoulos, iZombie‘s Rose McIver, and Black Lightning‘s Cress Williams were also seen at the bash.

Grant Gustin makes an appearance at the 2017 Comic-Con to promote to his show The Flash on Saturday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The 27-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, and Keiynan Lonsdale who dressed up like Where’s Waldo!

The cast also stopped by the #IMDboat that day!

During their panel discussion, it was revealed that three new characters will be joining season 4 of the show.

One of the characters arriving in Central City will be villain Clifford Devoe aka The Thinker (played by Neil Sandilands). The metahuman will be The Flash’s biggest enemy throughout the season, pitting the “fastest man alive” against the “fastest mind alive.”

Season 4 of The Flash will premiere on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.

Gal Gadot was on fire at the Wonder Woman premiere tonight!

The 32-year-old actress dazzled in a bold red gown as she hit the blue carpet at the event held at the Pantages Theatre on Thursday (May 25) in Hollywood.

She was joined by her co-stars Chris Pine and and Robin Wright.

Also in attendance from the film were Connie Nielsen, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Eugene Brave Rock, Ewen Bremner, Madeleine Vall, and director Patty Jenkins.

Kellan Lutz, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, and Crystal Reed came out to show their support as well.

Gal even snapped some pics up with Lynda Carter, star of the original Wonder Woman! “Wonderful (see what I did there?) to be with the lovely @gal_gadot at the World Premiere of Wonder Woman!!” Lynda shared on Instagram.

The cast and crew of the CW’s DC Comics-based Arrowverse series dropped a ton of upcoming spoilers at PaleyFest!

Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, and Stephen Amell all took the stage at The Paley Center for Media’s 2017 PaleyFest presentation of The CW’s Heroes & Aliens held at Dolby Theatre on Saturday (March 18) in Hollywood.

They were joined by their Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow cast mates David Ramsey, Candice Patton, David Harewood, Brandon Routh, and Caity Lotz, as well as moderator Kevin Smith and the shows’ executive producers.

At the event, it was revealed that there will be a surprise crossover in the second-to-last episode of Legends‘ fifth season!

“I will call it a surprise crossover,” EP Marc Guggenheim told Deadline. “No one knows this because we’ve kept it under wraps, but there’s a surprise cameo, surprise crossover moment in the penultimate episode of Legends.”

“Very soon, the author of the greatest, I guess you could call it ‘fantasy novel series’ of all time will appear,” EP Phil Klemmer also hinted. “You can figure out who that is.”
