Carole Baskin Comes Out as Bisexual

Carole Baskin is coming out.

The 59-year-old Tiger King star confirmed that she is bisexual in an interview with PinkNews.

Carole told the outlet that she discovered her truth back during the AIDS crisis in the ’80s when she was spending a lot of time with the LGBTQ community.

“I was engaged to a psychologist, and that was his entire field, dealing with the LGBT+ community. It was during the period when AIDS was just wreaking havoc around the world, and people were losing their loved ones, and so I became very close to people in that community then,” she said.

“I have always considered myself to be bisexual. Even though I’ve never had a wife, I could just as easily have a wife as a husband as far as the way I feel about us. I think that we are all one and that we are all…I just don’t see us as being different genders or different colors or different anything,” she continued.

Carole Baskin Is Being Sued By Missing Husband Don Lewis's Family

Don Lewis‘s family is taking Carole Baskin to court.

TMZ reports that the animal activist, and current Dancing With The Stars contestant, is being sued by Don‘s daughters, Gale, Lynda and Donna, for defamation after watching her make jokes about his mysterious disappearance.

The legal docs, filed by the daughters and Don‘s former assistant Anne McQueen, state that Carole was “complicit with jokes about Don’s death on Dancing With The Stars, when judges brought up TikTok videos inspired by her storyline in Tiger King.”

Anne says that instead of participating in the jokes, Carole should have said something to stop them.

Don‘s family is also accusing Carole of being complicit with jokes about Don during her interview on Good Morning America when she promised to “really kill it next week”.

Just last week, the family, with their lawyer, John Phillips, aired a commercial during the premiere episode of DWTS for new tips on the whereabouts of Don, who went missing in 1997.

Here’s what Carole thought about that…

Carole Baskin Makes 'DWTS' Debut, Dances to 'Eye of the Tiger' & Earns Lowest Score of the Night (Video)

Carole Baskin has officially made her dancing debut on the ABC reality competition series Dancing With the Stars.

The 59-year-old big-cat rights activist, who rose to fame from the Netflix series Tiger King, performed with her pro partner Pasha Pashkov during the season premiere on Monday night (September 14) in Los Angeles.

As many people predicted, Carole earned the lowest score of the night out of the 15 celebrity contestants. She received 11 out of 30 points for her paso doble, which was performed to the tune of “Eye of the Tiger.”

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Derek Hough both gave her 4 out of 10 points while Bruno Tonioli gave her just 3 out of 10 points, saying that she has a lot of room to improve.

There was a surprising commercial aired during the show, which was paid for by some people that are not fans of Carole at all.

Family of Don Lewis, Carole Baskin's Missing Husband, Airing Commercial During Her 'DWTS' Debut

Some huge news just came in about tonight’s Dancing with the Stars premiere and one of the celebrities competing for the Mirror Ball trophy, Carole Baskin.

If you don’t know, Carole rose to fame just a few months ago as one of the key figures in Netflix’s Tiger King. One big story line that came out of the show was the mysterious disappearance of her millionaire first husband, Don Lewis. Many assumed Carole had something to do with his disappearance, though nothing has been proven.

Well, Don‘s family purchased airtime during the first commercial break of Dancing with the Stars to “implore the public to send tips regarding his mysterious disappearance,” TMZ reports.

The commercial will feature Don‘s three daughters Gale, Lynda and Donna, his former assistant, Anne McQueen, and the family attorney who bought the airtime on ABC. According to TMZ, all of them “allege Carole has something to do with Don‘s disappearance.”

The family feel placing Carole on television in this manner “undermines the ongoing investigation into his whereabouts and is a ‘grossly insensitive’ decision by the show’s producers.”

Nicolas Cage's Joe Exotic Series Goes to Amazon, Carole Baskin Reacts!

It was previously announced that Nicolas Cage will be playing the role of Joe Exotic in an upcoming series about the Tiger King star. Now, it has been revealed that Amazon Studios has signed on to help develop the show!

Variety reports that the series will be based on an article about Joe Exotic that was featured in Texas Monthly.

The story “centers around Joe Shreibvogel (Cage), a.k.a. Joe Exotic, an eccentric exotic zookeeper in Oklahoma who fights to keep his park — even at the risk of losing his sanity. The series will live in the lion’s den with Joe, explore how he became Joe Exotic, and how he lost himself to a character of his own creation.”

Carole Baskin, who is Joe Exotic‘s real-life rival and another star of Tiger King, is opening up about Cage playing the role.

She told Extra, “He is such a favorite actor of mine, and I just don’t know if I can even watch him after seeing that role.”
