Ryan Coogler is opening up about the final time he spoke to Chadwick Boseman before his death two years ago.

The 36-year-old filmmaker directed Chadwick in the movie Black Panther and he returned to direct the sequel Wakanda Forever, which hits theaters on November 11.

Ryan talked to Chadwick just two weeks before he died and it ended up being their final conversation.

Marvel Explains Why They Didn't Recast Chadwick Boseman's King T'Challa in 'Black Panther 2'

Marvel CEO Kevin Feige is speaking out about the decision to not recast the role of King T’Challa in the upcoming sequel to 2018′s Black Panther.

Chadwick tragically passed away in August 2020 after battling cancer. He was only 43 years old. At the time of his death, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, had not yet started production.

Simone Boseman was on hand to accept Chadwick Boseman‘s posthumous Emmy.

On Saturday night (September 3), Simone attended the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to accept the late actor’s award.

Chadwick won the Outstanding Character Voice-Over award for his role role as Black Panther aka T’Challa in the animated Disney+ and Marvel series What If…?.
