Black Mirror is coming back!
Season 6 of the Netflix series premieres in June, and a ton of guest stars are featured in the upcoming season.
While the show’s episodes have always been standalone, creator Charlie Brooker hints that Season 6 follows a new model, as the straemer notes “the sixth season of Black Mirror is the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet.”

Is something 2020-related coming to Black Mirror?
Series creator Charlie Brooker just released a teaser on Thursday (December 3) that has fans all riled up about a potential return of the hit show.

The creator of the show released a mystery mockumentary about the year of 2020, which might be called “Death to 2020.”
In November, Hugh Grant revealed he was working on something with the creator of the show, calling it a “mockumentary about 2020,” and that he’d be playing a historian being interviewed about the year.
“I’m doing a thing tomorrow, actually. Charlie Brooker [the creator of Black Mirror] has written a mockumentary about 2020. It’s for Netflix, and I am a historian who’s being interviewed about the year. I’m pretty repellent, actually! And you’ll like my wig,” he said.
“2020: even the creators of Black Mirror couldn’t make this year up. But, they do have something to add. Death to 2020,” the teaser hints. It’s also “coming soon” to Netflix.

The cast of the “USS Callister” episode of Black Mirror are all together for the FYC Event held at Netflix FYSee at Raleigh Studios on Wednesday (June 6) in Los Angeles.
Writer Charlie Brooker, Annabel Jones, Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson and costume designer Maja Meschede were all in attendance at the event.

The episode was the first episode of the fourth season of Black Mirror, and follows Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons), a reclusive but gifted programmer and co-founder of a popular massive multiplayer online game who is bitter over the lack of recognition of his position from his coworkers. He takes out his frustrations by simulating a Star Trek-like space adventure within the game, using his co-workers’ DNA to create sentient digital clones of them.
Cristin Milioti, Jesse Plemons, Jimmi Simpson, and Michaela Coel hit the red carpet while attending the Black Mirror screening and conversation on Friday (October 6) at the Paley Center in New York City.
The actors were joined at the event by the show’s producers Annabel Jones and Charlie Brooker to premiere the new “USS Callister” episode.
“This one is a big feat, visually,” Annabel told THR about the episode, which has a cinematic feel. “It’s still a very personal story about Jesse‘s character, but to do it properly, you have to have this big epic. So that’s a bit of a shift. I don’t think we’ve done anything like it.”
