Richard Gere Reveals He Hasn't Seen 'Pretty Woman' In 27 Years!

One of Richard Gere‘s most famous films in his filmography is without a doubt Pretty Woman – but that doesn’t mean he’s sitting around catching reruns of the beloved 1990 romantic comedy.

While making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night (April 11), the 67-year-old actor admitted it’s been 27 years since he last saw the film, co-starring Julia Roberts.

“You want to know the truth. I saw it with her [Julia] – when we were in previews,” Richard revealed to Jimmy. “That was twenty, you guys tell me, how long ago was that. 27 years ago, something like that.”

Pictured: Richard all suited up while hitting the carpet at the premiere of his latest film Norman held at The Whitby Hotel on Wednesday (April 12) in New York City.

Also in attendance at the screening was Richard‘s co-stars Lior Ashkenazi, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Steve Buscemi, Hank Azaria, writer-director Joseph Cedar, as well as Edie Falco, Tony Bennett and his wife Susan Crow.

Saoirse Ronan on Her Eyes: 'My Eyes Became A Huge Part of How I Communicate On-Screen'

Saoirse Ronan shows off her dewy complexion in a black and white shot on the March issue of Interview magazine.

Here’s what the 21-year-old actress, interviewed by Jodie Foster, had to share with the mag:

On her relationship with her mother: I’m really close to my mom as well, and she came away with me up until I was 19…My mom has always been so wonderful and she’s always said to me exactly what you said: to always trust your instincts. And whether it’s about a script or whether to live in this city or live in that city, if you’re questioning it, maybe it’s not quite right for you.

On experiencing sadness after she wrapped Atonement: I told my mom that I was still very sad from Atonement and not being a part of that experience anymore. I said to her, “I don’t really have that much to say.” And she said, “You know, you don’t have to tell a story through words, you can always tell a story with just your face and your eyes.” I think it was from that moment that my eyes became a huge part of how I would communicate on-screen.

On the pressure she feels from her Oscar nomination: That’s the worst thing for me. I’m a huge worrier as well. The thing that I would worry about after being nominated again is, “How do I keep that up?” Not in relation to awards, but keeping up performances.

Saoirse also shares covers with Jodie Foster, Winona Ryder, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
