The full trailer is out now for Chris Pine‘s upcoming directorial debut Poolman!

The 43-year-old actor not only directs the movie, but he also stars, produces and co-wrote the film with Ian Gotler.

Poolman “tells the story of Darren Barrenman (Pine), a native Los Angeleno who spends his days looking after the pool of the Tahitian Tiki apartment block and fighting to make his hometown a better place to live. When he is tasked by a femme fatale to uncover the truth behind a shady business deal, Darren enlists the help of his friends to take on a corrupt politician and a greedy land developer. His investigation reveals a hidden truth about his beloved city and himself.”

The 43-year-old Wish actor has become famous for his choice of short shorts for most outings. However, he traded in his normally athletic look for something much dressier while attending The Bird Streets Club on Wednesday night (February 7) in West Hollywood, Calif.

He was spotted exiting the club wearing a dashing pinstriped tuxedo, complete with a bowtie and a pocket square!

Chris Pine is continuing to show off his love for short shorts.

The 43-year-old Wish actor was spotted on Friday (December 22) after a workout in Los Angeles. He was dressed for the gym, wearing what have become signature short shorts, a white tank top and brown loafers.

His latest appearance in the leg-baring outfit comes a few weeks after he was asked about his affinity for the shorts in an interview.
