Sutton Foster's Ex-Husband Christian Borle to Guest Star on 'Younger'

Sutton Foster is set to reunite on screen with her ex-husband Christian Borle!

Christian will be guest starring in the upcoming fifth season of Sutton‘s hit TV Land show Younger, which is set to premiere in the summer. He will play “journalist Don Ridley, a man who intrigues Liza (Foster) with his charm. Liza will take ‘interest’ in Don and later confide in him,” according to Variety.

Sutton and Christian both starred in the Broadway musical Thoroughly Modern Millie over 15 years ago and they recently appeared in the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

All four of the actors are nominated for their performances in the classic musical, which will be aired on PBS later this year.

Stephanie walked the carpet with her husband, House of Cards actor Sebastian Arcelus.

FYI: Andrew is wearing a Polo Ralph Lauren tuxedo. Stephanie is wearing a J. Mendel dress.

Ben Platt Wins Performance Prize at Drama League Awards, Breaks Record for Youngest Winner!

Ben Platt walks the red carpet while attending the 2017 Drama League Awards Ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Times Square on Friday (May 19) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actor beat out all of the other performers on Broadway this season to win the Distinguished Performance Award. Only one person wins the award each year and each recipient can only receive this award once during his or her career.

Ben, who won for his work in Dear Evan Hansen, becomes the youngest winner of the award ever!

'Charlie & The Chocolate Factory' on Broadway - First Look Photos!

The new musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is currently playing on Broadway and we have photos of Christian Borle and the cast in action!

Christian, a two-time Tony Award winner, is playing the role of Willy Wonka in the new musical based on the beloved Roald Dahl book.

The musical is currently in previews and opening night is on April 23.

Here is the show’s synopsis: “Willy Wonka, world famous inventor of the Everlasting Gobstopper, has just made an astonishing announcement. His marvelous—and mysterious—factory is opening its gates…to a lucky few. That includes young Charlie Bucket, whose life definitely needs sweetening. Andrew Rannells pairs his suit with a cool pair of sneakers while at the opening of his musical Falsettos on Thursday night (October 27) in New York City.

The 38-year-old actor was joined on the carpet by his co-stars Betsy Wolfe, Tracie Thoms, Anthony Rosenthal, Christian Borle, Stephanie J. Block and Brandon Uranowitz.

Christian Borle Set to Play Willy Wonka on Broadway!

Christian Borle has landed the coveted role of Willy Wonka in the upcoming Broadway musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The musical is based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel and recently was a hit on London’s West End. Hairspray co-writers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman wrote the music and lyrics for the new musical!

Christian was the first – and in truth, perhaps the ONLY person I could imagine to create the role of Willy,” director Jack O’Brien said in a statement (via TheWrap). “His combination of child-like fantasy, edge, mystery, and sheer star power seemed destined for this role. I confess I prayed a lot! But this one, at least, was answered!”

Christian is a two-time Tony winner for his work in the shows Peter and the Starcatcher and Something Rotten. He is also known for his work on NBC’s Smash.

Christian Borle Wins at Tony Awards 2015 for 'Something Rotten'

Christian Borle proudly holds his trophy while accepting his award on stage at the 2015 Tony Awards on Sunday evening (June 7) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 41-year-old actor, who you might recognize from his work on Smash, won the award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his work in the new show Something Rotten.

During the show, Christian‘s fellow Tony-nominated co-stars Brian d’Arcy James and Brad Oscar took to the stage to perform the show-stopping song “A Musical” for the live audience. Watch the performance below!
