The trailer for Zoe Kravitz‘s directorial debut, Blink Twice, has debuted online!

Here’s the synopsis of the film: When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.

The Broadway play Stereophonic is officially open and it’s expected to be the big hit of the season!

Juliana Canfield, best known for her work on HBO’s Succession, is a member of the ensemble cast and she walked the red carpet at the opening night show on Friday (April 19) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

The cast also includes Tom Pecinka, Sarah Pidgeon, Eli Gelb, Andrew R. Butler, Chris Stack, and Will Brill.

Juliana was supported by her Succession castmates J. Smith-Cameron, Zoe Winters, and David Rasche at the opening night performances.

Some of the other celebs in attendance included Rachel Brosnahan, Sadie Sink, Louisa Jacobson, Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders, Dylan Mulvaney, Common, and Christian Slater, among others. Check out photos in the gallery!

Stereophonic, written by David Adjmi, takes place in a music studio in 1976 as an up-and-coming rock band recording a new album finds itself suddenly on the cusp of superstardom. The ensuing pressures could spark their breakup — or their breakthrough. Arcade Fire‘s Will Butler wrote original songs for the play!

The trailer for Netflix‘s new film Unfrosted just debuted, and it features an all-star cast.

Jerry Seinfeld co-wrote and directed the film, along with having a starring role. Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant, Amy Schumer, Max Greenfield, Christian Slater, Bill Burr, Daniel Levy, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Thomas Lennon, Bobby Moynihan, Adrian Martinez, Sarah Cooper, and Fred Armisen also star.

Matt Damon and Mark Ruffalo share a laugh while performing on stage at The Center at West Park on Thursday (November 16) in New York City.

The two stars took part in a reading of the play This Is Our Youth, alongside Missy Yager, to help raise funds for the West Park Presbyterian Church building, which The Center is located in.

The event was held to raise money for the many repairs the historic church needs, and save it from being demolished to make way for a mixed-use development, which was the intent after church leaders agreed to sell it to a developer in 2022.

Other celebrities in attendance included Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon, Christian Slater and Fisher Stevens, as well as playwright Kenneth Lonergan, who wrote This Is Our Youth.

The hope of raising funds for the space is to purchase back the building and transform it into a public theater or performance space.

Netflix released the trailer and poster for their new film, Chupa, this week, and some fans are shook.

First, we’ll give you a synopsis of the film: shy 13-year-old Alex (Evan Whitten) flies from Kansas City to Mexico to meet his extended family for the first time. There he meets his grandfather and former lucha libre champion Chava (Demián Bichir), energetic, wrestling-obsessed cousin Memo (Nickolas Verdugo), and fearless, hip cousin Luna (Ashley Ciarra). But just as Alex begins to get his bearings, he discovers a mythical creature living under his grandfather’s shed: a young chupacabra cub, which he recognizes from stories of the feared, full-grown chupacabra, fabled to feed on farmers’ livestock. Alex soon learns that his new friend “Chupa” has a secret history with his family, and that dogged, dangerous scientist Richard Quinn (Christian Slater) is hunting the misunderstood creature to try and harness his powers. To protect Chupa from impending danger, Alex sets off on the adventure of a lifetime, one that will push the bonds of his newfound family to the brink, and remind him that life’s burdens are lighter when you don’t have to carry them alone.

Joshua Jackson snaps a pic with Christian Slater as they step out for the Dr. Death FYC event held at NBCU FYC House on Sunday night (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The two stars of the limited series were joined by series creator Patrick McManus and director Maggie Kiley to discuss the show and its’ impact.

Speaking recently with Deadline, Josh opened up about playing the title doctor, Dr. Christopher Duntsch, whose special surgery for his patients ended with them permanently damaged or in some cases, dead.

Josh revealed that the story really illustrates big issues within the American health care system.

“You need to get to know your doctor,” he said. “You need to ask for second opinions. The system is not aligned with your outcome. The system is aligned with its own profit motive. It’s amazing to be a part of telling that story.”
