Christina Hendricks has been dying her hair red since she was 10 and she uses an affordable product that anyone can use at home!

The six-time Emmy-nominated actress shared her hair-care secret with InStyle in a recent interview.

“My process has not changed, except that now I use a permanent color,” she said about how her hair-dyeing experience has evolved. “I’ve had many amazing stylists dye it over the years, but I keep going back to the one shade that’s perfect for me, and it’s from a Clairol box. I buy a bunch of those at once and use one whenever I need it.”

Christina Hendricks had a integral role in the iconic imagery of American Beauty.

While making an appearance alongside Logan Lerman on The Late Late Show on Monday (Febraury 24), the Good Girls actress shared that she used to be a model, and at times, a hand model, and that a gig led her to being the hand model for the famous poster for the hit 1999 film, which features a hand holding a red rose against a bare stomach.

“We did different combinations. I didn’t know what American Beauty was, I didn’t know what that movie was,” Christina recalled, revealing that she wasn’t alone in the shoot. “My hand, her stomach. Everybody that knows me, knew. I posted it on my Instagram and everyone went crazy. It’s cool!”

“I don’t know quite how I feel about it not being my stomach, but you know,” Christina added.

Christina Hendricks has officially filed for divorce from husband Geoffrey Arend, after announcing their split earlier this year.

The 44-year-old actress submitted the paperwork on Friday (December 13) in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

In the documents, Christina asked the court to terminate the ability to award either spousal support and handle attorney’s fees separately. She also requested to restore her last name to Hendricks.

The couple previously announced their separation in October, telling fans of their plans to take their “next step together, but on separate paths.” Read their full statement.

Christina and Geoffrey were married for 10 years after being introduced by Christina‘s former Mad Men co-star Vincent Kartheiser. They do not have children.

Christina Hendricks heads back to her car after attending producer Jennifer Klein‘s annual holiday party on Saturday (December 7) at a private residence in Brentwood, Calif.

The 44-year-old Emmy-nominated actress was joined by a friend for a fun night on the town to celebrate the holidays. She left the party in a chauffeured Cadillac car.

Christina was one of the many celeb guests who stopped in the Anthropologie gifting room, where each guest was gifted a beautifully wrapped candle. Derek Hough joked on his Instagram Story that he wrapped every present in the room for girlfriend Hayley Erbert! The gifting room and the rest of the house smelled great thanks to Alora Ambiance’s diffusers.

While walking to her car, Christina was spotted holding a See’s Candies lollipop. There was an entire candy bar inside the party where stars like Alison Brie, Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict, Chord Overstreet, and more enjoyed some sweet treats from the brand.

Sprinkles’ layer cakes, cookies, brownies, and cupcakes were passed around throughout the evening and were a big hit. Stars were also seen filling up personal bags of Garrett Popcorn and snacking on the treat during the party.

Christina Hendricks keeps it chic while striking a pose on the red carpet at the 2019 Thespians Go Hollywood Gala held at Avalon Hollywood on Monday (November 18) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old Good Girls star was joined at the event by Cheyenne Jackson, Matthew Morrison, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Sean Hayes, Megan Hilty, Nia Vardalos and Bernadette Peters.

The Thespians Go Hollywood gala is put on by the Educational Theatre Foundation to support financial access and equity in school theater education programs.

Christina, Matthew and more helped pay tribute to Tony legend Bernadette Peters who was being honored with the Craig Zadan Theatre for Life Award. The award is named after the late producer Zadan, who received the award posthumously last year along with producing partner Neil Meron during an emotional event in North Hollywood that saw a slew of A-listers perform on the same stage as high school students.
