Angelina Jolie in Talks to Star in 'Every Note Played'

Angelina Jolie is possibly taking on a new role.

The 45-year-old actress and activist is in talks to star in Every Note Played, an adaptation of Lisa Genova‘s contemporary romance novel, Variety reported Friday (October 9).

Christoph Waltz is also in talks.

Jolie will play Karina, the ex-wife of an accomplished concert pianist named Richard (portrayed by Waltz). He has suffered many losses, including the estrangement of his daughter, when he gets diagnosed with ALS in his hands. As the disease worsens and Richard can no longer play the piano or live on his own, Karina reluctantly steps in to be his caregiver,” the outlet reports.

Michael Sucsy is set to direct.

There’s a new poster for the James Bond movie No Time to Die, which may very well be the next major blockbuster to hit theaters after the Coronavirus pandemic.

Amid reports that Disney/Marvel is considering moving the planned November release of Black Window, this would place No Time to Die as the next big movie to hit theaters on November 20.

Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet was one of the first major movies to open in theaters during the COVID-19 pandemic and it hasn’t had a huge box office domestically.

Here’s a synopsis: In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Daniel Craig stars alongside Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Rory Kinnear, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, and Billy Magnussen.

Guillermo del Toro's Star-Studded Cast for 'Pinocchio' Movie at Netflix Has Been Announced!

Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro is hard at work on a Pinocchio movie for Netflix and the star-studded cast has been revealed!

The new adaptation of the classic tale will be a stop-motion animated musical movie. Set during the rise of Fascism in Mussolini’s Italy, del Toro‘s Pinocchio is a story of love and disobedience as Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father’s expectations.

Newcomer Gregory Mann is playing the title role, Ewan McGregor will play Cricket, and Harry Potter‘s David Bradley is Geppetto.

Also in the cast are Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz, Finn Wolfhard, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, and Burn Gorman.

“After years of pursuing this dream project, I found my perfect partner in Netflix,” Guillermo said in a statement. “We have spent a long time curating a remarkable cast and crew and have been blessed by continuous support from Netflix to quietly and carefully soldier on, barely missing a beat. We all love and practice animation with great passion and believe it to be the ideal medium to retell this classic story in a completely new way.”

Guillermo is directing the movie with Fantastic Mr. Fox‘s Mark Gustafson. He wrote the script with Patrick McHale and the song lyrics with Katz, with music by Alexandre Desplat, who also is writing the score.
