Emma Stone just gave an update on the anticipated sequel to her Disney movie Cruella!
The 35-year-old actress signed for a second film in August 2021, just two months after it was reported it was greenlit.
There hasn’t really been any updates in the past couple of years since the sequel was announced, and Emma just revealed a new update on Thursday evening (January 4).

Disney’s live action movies are huge money makers!
From the ’90s to today, Disney has released 17 live action movies, and there are so many more on the way.
The latest is The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey. According to Deadline, the movie brought in $117.5 million domestically and $163.8 million globally in its opening weekend.
The movie’s box office was at the center of some controversy ahead of its premiere. Why? Aladdin star Mena Massoud made some comments comparing the unreleased movie to the one he starred in.
In particular, he implied that The Little Mermaid wouldn’t make more than $1 billion at the global box office like Aladdin did.

Britney Spears is singing praise for the Disney movie Cruella!
The 39-year-old entertainer took to her Instagram account on Monday night (August 30) to tell fans how much she loved the film.
We have some good news for fans who don’t want to pay extra to see the movie.
“I watched Cruella last night … ok so I watch it at least 3 to 4 times a week … I like it ok 😂🙄🤷🏼♀️???” Britney started off her review.

Emma Stone has officially signed on to star in a Cruella sequel for Disney!
There previously were reports that Emma was considering a lawsuit against Disney following Scarlett Johansson‘s lawsuit against the studio. It seems that won’t happen now that she has closed a deal to work with the studio again.
Both Cruella and Black Widow were released on Disney+ Premier Access on the same day as they were released in theaters.
Emma‘s agent Patrick Whitesell, who is the executive chairman of Endeavor, has released a statement about the deal.
