Sterling K. Brown Reunites with 'This Is Us' Creator for New Hulu Series

Sterling K. Brown is teaming up with Dan Fogelman once again!

Nearly a year after This Is Us ended its six-season run, the 47-year-old Emmy-winning actor is reuniting with the show’s creator for a new series heading to Hulu.

The upcoming still-untitled project will be produced by 20th Television with Sterling, Dan, Jess Rosenthal, and John Hoberg serving as executive producers.

Milo Ventimiglia & Mandy Moore Reveal The Items They Took From The 'This Is Us' Set

Milo Ventimiglia masks up for the series finale event for This Is Us held at Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Sunday (May 22) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old actor posed with co-stars Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz and Chris Sullivan at the event, as well as creator Dan Fogelman, just days ahead of the final episode of the hit show on NBC.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly recently, the four stars revealed the things that they took from the set, and the item that Milo took has a special connection to the show.

'This Is Us' Series Finale Date Revealed, Follow-Up Movie Plans Teased

Milo Ventimiglia Gets Support From Justin Hartley At Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

Milo Ventimiglia shows off his own star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame on Monday (January 10) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old actor was supported at the ceremony by his This Is Us co-stars Justin Hartley and Jon Huertas, as well as the show’s creator Dan Fogelman.

Gilmore GirlsAmy Sherman-Palladino was also on hand to honor Milo at the ceremony.

Following the reveal of the star, Milo shared it on his twitter account, asking “Who’s next?”

“It more feels like, ‘OK kid, you’ve done good for last 26 years, what do you got for the next 26?’” he says of getting his star on the iconic landmark.

'This Is Us' to Tackle Coronavirus Pandemic 'Head On' in Season Five

The Pearsons will be battling the coronavirus pandemic in the next season of This Is Us.

Creator Dan Fogelman confirmed on Twitter that the upcoming season five of the NBC drama will have a storyline about the ongoing health pandemic.

“Yes on Covid,” Dan tweeted while answering questions from fans. “We’ve decided to attack things head on. Very proud of @ThisIsUsWriters.”

Dan also responded to other fan questions about production, season five’s premiere date, and if the show is still ending the same way he has planned.

“Some vague #ThisIsUs answers (sorry), Not sure yet on production start. Not sure when new eps will air,” Dan added. “Same planned ending. Same route to get there. Hope that’s (somewhat) useful?”

Back in May 2019, it was announced that This Is Us had been picked up through season six, which is when Dan had planned on ending the show.

Mandy Moore & Susan Kelechi Watson React to Death of 'This Is Us' Writer Jas Waters

This Is Us writer Jas Waters has sadly passed away at only 39-years-old.

The news of Jas‘ death was confirmed on the This Is Us writers’ Twitter on Wednesday (June 10).

The entire #ThisIsUs family was devastated to learn of Jas Waters passing,” the writers wrote. “In our time together, Jas left her mark on us and ALL over the show. She was a brilliant storyteller and a force of nature. We send our deepest sympathies to her loved ones. She was one of us. RIP @JasFly.”

Show creator Dan Fogelman also expressed his condolences, tweeting, “This news took my breath away. Jas was absolutely brilliant and had so many stories still to tell. She made an indelible mark on our show and my heart breaks for her loved ones. RIP @JasFly.”

This Is Us star Mandy Moore also mourned Jas‘ death.

“Sending love and light to @JasFly’s family and loved ones,” Mandy tweeted.

Susan Kelechi Watson remembered Jas by writing, “Incredibly shocked and saddened to have just receive this news. Blessed Light, fly with the angels.”

Jas has writing credits on 18 episodes of This Is Us.
