Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher is back!

The 47-year-old actor filmed scenes for Daredevil: Born Again in the early morning hours of Wednesday (April 3) in Brooklyn, New York. He was seen filming alongside someone in a Daredevil suit, though it’s unclear if that’s actually Charlie Cox (who portrays the character) or a stand-in/stunt double.

Jon originally played Frank Castle/The Punisher in his Netflix series, but it was canceled after 2 seasons. Daredevil was also canceled by Netflix, but luckily, Disney+ is reviving the franchise and will be airing this new series once it’s done with production.

Six stars from the original Netflix shows are returning for the reboot series, but unfortunately, one actress was recast.

Well, fans might be thrilled by this Daredevil: Born Again news.

Originally, we thought two stars from the original series were exiting, but we just learned they were actually asked back!

If you don’t know, Netflix originally aired a Daredevil series for three seasons beginning in 2015. Now, the series is returning for a new season on Disney+, and many of the original stars are returning. One star was recast.

The cast of Daredevil: Born Again is back to work on their upcoming Disney+ series after a break this weekend.

Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, and Elden Henson were spotted shooting a scene together on Monday night (February 5) on the streets of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The trio were seen coming out of Josie’s, which is a fictional bar in the Daredevil world and located near the Law Office of Nelson and Murdock.

A stunt double for Daredevil was also spotted filming a fight scene that day and we have all the photos for you to see here. He faced off against Wilson Bethel‘s character Bullseye.

Charlie Cox is hard at work filming the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.

The 41-year-old actor is reprising his role as Matt Murdock in the upcoming series after previously playing the superhero in the Netflix series. Now, the character is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the show is moving to Disney+.

Charlie was spotted shooting a scene with returning co-star Vincent D’Onofrio and newcomer Arty Froushan on Thursday (February 1) in New York City.

Arty‘s casting was announced almost a year ago and it’s believed he’ll play Wilson Disk’s associate Harry.

One day earlier, Charlie was spotted filming a steamy kiss scene with a co-star!

Charlie Cox has officially suited up again as Matt Murdock for the new Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again.

On Wednesday (January 31), the 41-year-old actor was spotted on the set of the show alongside new costar Margarita Leiviva, who will play Matt’s love interest Heather Glenn.

There are some major changes happening to the Daredevil reboot TV series from Marvel, currently titled Daredevil: Born Again.

Less than half of the episodes had been filmed by the time the WGA and actors’ strikes had began over the summer, and when execs reviewed the footage of the episodes that had been completed… apparently some changes were put into place.

THR is reporting that the show is now undergoing a creative reboot, and Marvel has let go of head writers, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, as well as the rest of the show’s directors.
