Zoe Kravitz joins her High Fidelity co-stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph and David H. Holmes, and author Nick Hornby at the SiriusXM Studios on Friday (February 14) in New York City.

The 31-year-old actress has been promoting her new Hulu series, High Fidelity, throughout the week, which is out now.

It turns out that the costumes for Zoe‘s character were inspired by Sex and the City‘s Carrie Bradshaw.

“Sex and the City was a huge influence for me and I think the way that Carrie [Bradshaw] dresses was always… just it was almost like another character in the show and it made it so fun to watch and to see what she was going to wear next,” Zoe shared with reporters during the recent TCA.

She added that “I wanted to try and create something that had a similar effect. So it’s not like me, but I mean, I like the clothes. I would wear them.”

On top of talking about the Hulu show, Zoe also spilled new details about playing Catwoman in the new Batman movie.

The 31-year-old actress stars in the new Hulu series and she stepped out for the premiere on Thursday (February 13) at The Metrograph in New York City.

High Fidelity is an adaptation of the novel by Nick Hornby and is a gender-swapped take on the story, which was also made into a movie with John Cusack.

More stars from the show who stepped out for the premiere included Jake Lacy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H Holmes, Rainbow Francks, Thomas Doherty, Edmund Donovan, Justin Silver, and Sam Falconi.

Zoe Kravitz snaps pictures with her High Fidelity co-stars at the Hulu portion of the 2020 Winter TCA event held at The Langham Huntington Hotel on Friday (January 17) in Pasadena, Calif.

The 31-year-old actress joined Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, and Jake Lacy in chatting up the new series, along with producers Scott Rosenberg, Veronica West, and Sarah Kucserka.

The first teaser for the new show was released today as well.

High Fidelity centers on Rob (Kravitz), a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn who revisits past relationships through music and pop culture, while trying to get over her one true love.

The series will debut on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14th.

Zoe Kravitz is starring in a gender-flipped version of High Fidelity and the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Hulu series has arrived.

The streaming service will break their tradition of rolling out episodes week-by-week when they launch all episode of the show on February 14.

A departure from Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and beloved 2000 film, Hulu’s High Fidelity centers on Rob (Kravitz), a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn who revisits past relationships through music and pop culture, while trying to get over her one true love.

In the trailer, Zoe breaks the fourth wall and talks to the viewers.

Zoe, who is also an executive producer on the project, is joined in the cast by Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.
