So many stars are stepping out to support 13: The Musical!

Debra Messing, Josh Peck and Peter Hermann hit the yellow carpet for a special screening of the new Netflix movie at The Paris Theatre in New York City on Monday (August 8).

The trio were joined at the event by co-stars Eli Golden, Gabriella Uhl, Frankie McNellis, Lindsey Blackwell, Jonathan Lengel, Luke Islam, Kayleigh Cerezo, Khiyla Aynne and Rhea Perlman.

13: The Musical is an adaptation of the hit musical from Jason Robert Brown, with original runs featuring Ariana Grande, Tinashe and Elizabeth Gillies. The film adaptation was directed by Tamra Davis and will debut on August 12th on Netflix. You can check out the latest trailer here.

Christian Siriano is celebrating the opening of his new store with a star-studded event!

Katie Holmes and Debra Messing stepped out for the grand opening of the 36-year-old designer’s The Collective West store on Tuesday (July 12) in Westport, Conn.

Other stars in attendance included Ozark actress Laura Linney along with model Coco Rocha and her husband James Conran, their daughter Ioni, 7, and son Iver, 4.

“The opening of The Collective West is so exciting for me because I decided to follow my customer, which ultimately led me out of the city and into Westport. To be able to uplift and support the young artists featured in this store is something I’m really proud of because without retail, fashion wouldn’t exist,” Christian said of his new endeavor.

He added that taking out the buyer/wholesale element of the traditional department store business model, the artists will have more control by retaining a full retail margin, as well as creative freedom.

The store will feature various young designers and brands, all carefully curated by Christian, including Swoon Westport, Josh Levkoff Jewelry, Irene Lummertz Jewelry, Snif, Eny Parker, Bleusalt, Franny’s Farmacy, Bungalow’s Décor and Future Lovers of Tomorrow.

During the event, Debra took to Instagram to congratulate Christian on opening the new store.

“CONGRATULATIONS my dear love Christian Siriano on the opening of your gorgeous @thecollective.west in Westport CT!🎉 What beauty everywhere….your clothing, furnishings, and art, along with beautifully curated designs from a handful of primo designers. I’m endlessly amazed by your creativity & energy. Thank you for bringing so much beauty to the world. Love you.❤️” Debra wrote along with a few photos of she and Christian at the event.

Kim Kardashian is finally talking about Debra Messing.

Back in September 2021, the 53-year-old Will & Grace actress reacted to news of the 41-year-old reality star hosting Saturday Night Live, tweeting, “Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she is a cultural icon, but SNL has hosts, generally, who are performers who are there to promote a film, TV show, or album launch. Am I missing something?”

After watching Kim host SNL, Debra apologized for the seemingly shady message saying that she never intended to “troll” her before adding that she thought Kim did an “amazing job.”

During the debut episode of The Kardashians, Kim addressed Debra‘s tweet.

It’s a very big night for Debra Messing!

The 53-year-old Will & Grace actress celebrated the opening night of her new Broadway show Birthday Candles on Sunday (April 10) at the American Airlines Theatre in New York City.

Stars in attendance at the opening night show included Bryan Cranston, Hocus Pocus actress Kathy Najimy, Gossip Girl actress Margaret Collin, designer Christian Siriano, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress Marin Hinkle, Law and Order: Organized Crime actor Dylan McDermott, In Living Color actress Ali Wentworth, L.A. Law actor Blair Underwood, and Mad About You actor Richard Kind.

Here’s the show synopsis: The existential dramedy stars Debra as “Ernestine Ashworth through nine decades of her life, the Will & Grace actress aging playing ages 17 to 107 — without the aid of prosthetics, makeup, or wigs — as the story follows Ernestine baking a simple butter cake on her birthday each year,” according to EW.

Birthday Candles was originally supposed to open in the spring of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the Broadway show’s opening for over two years.

Debra Messing is mourning the death of her former partner Will Chase‘s ex-wife Lori Davis, who she calls a member of her “chosen” family.

Lori was married to Will from 1998 to 2008 and he then dated Debra from 2011 to 2014 while they were starring in the NBC series Smash.

“I can’t believe you’re gone. No doubt, heaven has a new bright light,” Debra wrote on Instagram. “It’s not fair. You’re so good. So loving, funny, nurturing, loyal, open, optimistic, and ready to celebrate… anything.”

“Ours was a unique bond. Lori was my ex-partner’s ex-wife. Yes, that’s right. And the mother to 2 spectacular girls who I had the opportunity to fall in love with, and who became the sisters my boy never had,” she continued.

Debra Messing is defending her friend Alec Baldwin after the tragic accident that occurred on the set of his upcoming western movie Rust.

Alec discharged a prop gun that accidentally killed the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and seriously injured director Joel Souza.

Conservative media personality Benny Johnson tweeted about the story and made the claim that a criminal investigation is underway. Authorities have stated that no charged are being filed.

“BREAKING: Alec Baldwin kills person with gun, criminal investigation underway,” Benny tweeted. He added, “This is the accurate headline fyi.”

Debra responded to the tweet to defend Alec.
