Jessica Chastain and Tilda Swinton provided the ultimate study in contrast while attending the second day of the 2023 Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday (November 25) in Marrakech, Morocco.

The 46-year-old Memory actress opted for a long-sleeved black dress with a train and a plunging neckline, which provided the sole pop of color.

Tilda, 63, went the exact opposite direction. She wowed in an icy, oversized coat. While the women’s outfits were very different, she also accessorized with a pop of pastel pink on her shoes.

The stars are stepping out in Morocco!

Jessica Chastain, Alexander Skarsgard, and Joel Edgerton arrived at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Marrakech International Film Festival on Friday (November 24) in Marrakech, Morocco.

Other stars in attendance included Willem Dafoe and wife Giada Colagrande, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and son Xavier, House of Gucci actress Camille Cottin, and Mudbound director Dee Rees.

The stars also attended a screening of Hit Man.

The annual film festival, which runs this year from Nov. 24 through Dec. 2, honors films and figures within the movie industry from around the world.

Last month, Jessica was honored during another film festival.

Anne Hathaway poses with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during an unveiling ceremony on Thursday afternoon (May 9) in Hollywood.

The 36-year-old Oscar-winning actress was joined at the event by her parents and her husband Adam Shulman, who shared a sweet moment with her during the unveiling.

Anne‘s The Hustle co-star Rebel Wilson and director Chris Addison were there for support, as were her Ocean’s Eight co-star Awkwafina and Dee Rees, the director of her upcoming movie The Last Thing He Wanted.

Jake Gyllenhaal looks so handsome while all suited up on the red carpet at the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s 50th Anniversary Gala on Monday (April 29) at Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

Also in attendance at the event were Tilda Swinton as well as Jake‘s Wildlife filmmakers Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan.

Some directors who were in attendance included Dee Rees with partner Sarah M. Broom, John Waters, Darren Aronofsky, and Michael Moore.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center just rebranded to become just “Film at Lincoln Center.”

Queen Latifah is sharing two very special short films during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival!

The Oscar-nominated actress took to the stage for a Tribeca Talks session on Friday (April 26) at Spring Studio in New York City.

During the talk, in conversation with Dee Rees, Queen Latifah discussed The Queen Collective, which is a program aimed at accelerating gender and racial equality behind the camera.

As part of the project, she premiered two short films directed by women of color – Haley Anderson‘s If There Is Light and Brittany Fennell‘s Ballet After Dark.

The films are now available on Hulu.

Dee Rees is looking amazing at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

How awesome are Dee‘s shoes!? On the red carpet, Dee also posed with Mudbound’s Mary J Blige, Jason Clarke, Rob Morgan, and Garrett Hedlund, as well as her partner Sarah Broom.

If you don’t know, Dee is up for the Best Adapted Screenplay award tonight alongside Virgil Williams for their work on Mudbound.
