The Broadway play Ain’t No Mo’ announced an abrupt closing notice last week, but it will get another week of life thanks to the support of several A-List celebs.

The new show, by playwright Jordan E. Cooper, celebrated its opening night performance just a couple weeks ago, but sadly sales have been low, forcing the show to close earlier than expected.

Ain’t No Mo’ dares to ask the incendiary question, “What if the U.S. government attempted to solve racism … by offering Black Americans one-way plane tickets to Africa?”

Lee Daniels is the lead producer on the play, which made history with Jordan becoming the youngest Black American playwright ever on Broadway.

Several A-List stars have bought out performances to show their support for the struggling show and allow new audiences to experience the play. The show is now running through December 23 and you can get tickets for the final performances on Telecharge.com.

The cast of the hit ABC show – James Pickens Jr., Kelly McCreary, Caterina Scorsone, Chandra Wilson, Jake Borelli, and Camilla Luddington – stepped out for the event on Tuesday (December 6) at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

While on the red carpet, Ellen opened up about how many more episodes she’ll be in on the show, after it was announced she’d be stepping back from the series.

The stars are stepping out for the 2022 People’s Choice Awards!

Stars from reality shows including Selling Sunset, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and The Bachelorette attended the annual awards show held on Tuesday night (December 6) at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

During the show, Ryan Reynolds will be honored with The People’s Icon Award, Shania Twain will be honored with The Music Icon, and Lizzo will be honored with The People’s Champion Award.

The 2022 People’s Choice Awards with host Kenan Thompson are airing RIGHT NOW on E! and NBC. Check out the full list of nominees here!

The stars are stepping out for the opening of Aint No Mo’!

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade posed together on the red carpet at the opening night performance of the new Broadway show on Thursday (December 1) at the Belasco Theatre in New York City.

Other stars in attendance included Matthew Broderick, Gayle King, Tamron Hall, Lee Daniels, Timothy Olyphant, and Tituss Burgess.

Dwyane Wade is hitting back.

The 40-year-old athlete pushed back after ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade objected to a court petition to block their 15-year-old trans daughter Zaya‘s attempt to change her name and gender.

He called the block attempt “libelous” and “nonsensical” in new paperwork.

Jake Gyllenhaal hits the carpet for the screening of his brand new movie, Strange World!

The 41-year-old actor joined co-stars Jaboukie Young-White and Gabrielle Union at the premiere held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday (November 15).

Speaking with ET at the event, Jake opened up about how the film impacted his outlook on family and fatherhood.

“That’s what moved me so much about it when I heard the pitch for the first time, it just hit straight home — all the complications we have in communicating to the different generations of our family,” Jake explained.

He added, “Ultimately, the thing that I love about this film, is that the youngest generation is the one that helps bridge the gap between all of them, and the idea that it’s family first, it starts in your family, and how you treat each other in your family is ultimately how you go out into the world and treat the world, and if we can all resolve some of those things, I think the world would be a different place.”

Gabrielle‘s husband, Dwyane Wade and their daughter Kaavia, as well as directors Don Hall and Qui Nguyen, producer Roy Conli and composer Henry Jackman were also at the event.

Strange World hits theaters November 23.

FYI: Gabrielle wore Valentino. Jake is wearing Deveaux New York navy pants.

Dwyane Wade just fired back at his ex wife’s accusations.

If you did not see, his ex, Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, accused Dwyane of pressuring their daughter Zaya into changing her name and gender for profit.

Over the years, Dwyane and his wife, Gabrielle Union, have shows Zaya nothing but support, and fans came to their defense this week.

Now, Dwyane has issued a lengthy statement firing back at his ex’s claims.

Funches-Wade and Dwyane were married from 2002 to 2010. They are also parents to son Zaire, 20.
