Elisabeth Moss is taking on a new role.
According to THR, the 40-year-old actress is set to star in the upcoming FX/Hulu thriller The Veil. The series comes from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

The season five teaser trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale has been released and it begins with the funeral of a major character and then details the aftermath of that death.
This is a spoiler alert if you haven’t yet finished season four, but those episodes have been available for a while now, so let’s dive in.

The widowed Serena (Yvonne Strahovski) attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) works with Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke (O-T Fagbenle), and Moira (Samira Wiley) fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.

Warren Littlefield, one of the executive producers of The Handmaid’s Tale, is speaking out about the overturning of Roe v. Wade and how the red handmaid outfit has become a symbol for the fight for reproductive rights.
In the dystopian series, based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, women’s reproductive rights are suppressed in a totalitarian state known as the Republic of Gilead.
The series was greenlit by Hulu in early 2016, when it seemed likely that a woman was about to become President of the United States for the first time and when there was no threat to women’s rights. The series premiered in April 2017, right after Trump had become president.

The 39-year-old actress has faced criticism over the years for being a member of the religion, especially while starring in a show like The Handmaid’s Tale.
Scientology records that have been made public show that Elisabeth has been part of the religion for most of her life. She took the Hubbard Key to Life Course at age eight and reached the state of Clear at age 11. Most recently, she did a Purification Rundown detox treatment in 2017.
In a new interview with The New Yorker, she was asked about the religion.
