Josh Hutcherson is gearing up for the premiere of his new Hulu show Future Man!

The 24-year-old actor – wearing a leg brace – spoke on stage at the Paley Center for Media’s 11th Annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews held at the Paley Center on Friday (September 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

He was joined by his co-stars Eliza Coupe, Haley Joel Osment, Derek Wilson, and Ed Begley Jr.

In the half-hour sci-fi comedy series, Josh plays Josh Futturman – a janitor by day and a gamer by night – who is recruited by mysterious visitors to travel through time to prevent the extinction of humanity.

“What’s cool about him is that he has a hero’s journey, but it’s not the typical, ‘Oh, at the beginning, he’s a weak dweeb, and then he’s the most badass fighter of all time,’” Josh said (via Paste). “He maintains his truth throughout the entire season, and that’s what helps propel the mission forward [through his] genuine care for people and keeping a moral center. That is very important.”

Executive producer Seth Rogen joins Future Man stars Josh Hutcherson and Eliza Coupe on stage during the panel discussion for their new show at the Hulu Summer TCA Press Tour on Thursday afternoon (July 27) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Joining the stars at the panel was there fellow Future Man co-star Derek Wilson.

The weekend before, Seth shared the first look of the new show while the cast attended the 2017 Comic-Con in San Diego.

Future Man follows the story of a janitor who battles against an intergalactic invasion and is set to premiere on Hulu on November 14.

The co-stars were in attendance to promote their new Hulu show Future Man alongside executive producer Seth Rogen.

That same day, Josh, Seth, and Derek hit up the TV Insider Lounge and tried out the new Nintendo Switch. Josh and Seth faced off while playing the new game ARMS.

Later that day, the cast of ABC’s former sit-com Happy Endings reunited to read a new script from the show! In attendance were Eliza Coupe, Elisa Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr., and Casey Wilson.

At the festival, Happy Endings creator David spoke about the possibility of a reboot for the show.

“[We don't want] to do six episodes shot on an iPhone,” David expressed (via THR). “But if someone would actually let us do it the real way, then everyone would want to do it.”

Mindy Kaling sparkles as she arrives at the season four premiere of her show The Mindy Project held at Ysabel on Saturday (September 12) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 36-year-old actress and creator was joined by her co-stars Ike Barinholtz, Ed Weeks, Rhea Perlman (with husband Danny DeVito), Beth Grant, and Xosha Roquemore.

New guest star Eliza Coupe was also in attendance.
