There are many celebrities who have spoken out about choosing to eat a vegan diet, but at some point, some of these stars quit eating plant-based.
Just Jared previously profiled some of the most famous celebrity vegans, and now, we’re taking a closer look at some of the celebrities who quit being vegan and started eating animal products again.
Here’s the definition of vegan, straight from The Vegan Society: “Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.”
This list of celebs who quit veganism includes several Oscar winners, one star who considers himself “a cheating vegan,” a few Marvel stars, and one actress who quit being vegan after going out to dinner with Matt Damon.
