Jim Parsons, Katie Holmes & More Cast In 'Our Town' Revival, Zoey Deutch Joins In Broadway Debut

The Tony award-winning play Our Town is getting another revival on Broadway!

Jim Parsons and Katie Holmes are set to the lead the cast of the upcoming adaptation, which will have a very limited engagement on the Great White Way, Deadline reports.

Also joining the cast is Zoey Deutch in her Broadway debut!

Broadway Stars Gather to Celebrate the 2020 Grammy Awards!

The stars of Broadway stepped out to celebrate the upcoming 2020 Grammy Awards at a special nominee celebration earlier this week in New York City.

Jagged Little Pill‘s Kathryn Gallagher and Elizabeth Stanley joined the stars of shows nominated in the Best Musical Theater Album category this year. The event was hosted by the Recording Academy New York Chapter, which just celebrated its 61st anniversary.

Ain’t Too Proud, Hadestown, Moulin Rouge, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Oklahoma are all up for the award this year.

Hadestown‘s Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada, Moulin Rouge‘s Aaron Tveit, Karen Olivo, and Danny Burstein, and Ain’t Too Proud‘s Saint Aubyn, Jawan Jackson, Derrick Baskin, James Harkness, and Ephraim Sykes were all there to represent their shows.

We bet Jagged Little Pill will be nominated next year!

The Grammy Awards ceremony takes place on Sunday, January 26 in Los Angeles.

Ephraim Sykes Cast as Michael Jackson in 'MJ the Musical'!

Ephraim Sykes is Michael Jackson!

The 34-year-old actor will play the late Thriller music icon in the upcoming Broadway musical MJ The Musical, Variety confirmed on Thursday (November 21).

Ephraim currently stars in Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations, and earned a Tony nomination for his role as David Ruffin, as well as a Grammy nomination for the cast recording. He’s previously been on NBC’s Hairspray Live!, and has appeared in Newsies and Hamilton.

The show is “intended to highlight’s the King of Pop’s life and career, boasting a selection of his chart-topping hits such as ‘Thriller,’ ‘Billie Jean, ‘ ‘Man in the Mirror,’ and ‘The Way You Make Me Feel.’”

Previews for the upcoming production will begin on July 6, 2020 at the Neil Simon Theatre, with an official opening set for August 13, 2020.

The stars of the Broadway show Ain’t Too Proud dance their feet off during a performance at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Jeremy Pope, Jawan M. Jackson, Ephrain Sykes, Derrick Baskin, and James Harkness led the performance, which was a medley of The Temptations‘ greatest hits. See what they all wore on the red carpet as well.

The show was nominated for 12 awards and ended the night with one win for Best Choreography.

Broadway's 'Ain't Too Proud' Stars Attend the Tony Awards 2019!

The stars of Ain’t Too Proud are joined by The Temptations’ Otis Williams on the red carpet at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Ephraim Sykes, Derrick Baskin, Jawan M. Jackson, and James Harkness posed together for the group photo. Missing from the group was Jeremy Pope, who walked the carpet separately.

Ain’t Too Proud is nominated for 12 awards tonight, including Best Musical. Derrick, Ephraim, and Jeremy are all up for their performances.

Jeremy is also nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his work in Choir Boy.

Sergio Trujillo, who was joined on the carpet by husband Jack Noseworthy, won the award for Best Choreography during the pre-show.

Dominique Morisseau, who was nominated for Best Book of a Musical, stunned in a red dress on the carpet.

Broadway's Musical Stars Celebrate the Upcoming Tony Awards!

The show is up for 14 awards at this week’s event, more than any other show. Eva is up for Best Actress and they were joined by co-stars and nominees Patrick Page and Amber Gray.

Stephanie J. Block, the favorite to win Best Actress in a Musical for her work in The Cher Show, was joined by husband Sebastian Arcelus.
