Ian Ziering and his wife Erin have decided to split.

The 55-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star took to Instagram on Thursday (October 31) to announce that he and Erin, 39, have decided to divorce after nine years of marriage.

“It is with a heavy heart that I tell you Erin and I are splitting up,” Ian wrote. “With our hectic work schedules we could not be busier, and over the last few years have grown apart. She is one of the most incredible women I have ever met and the best mom to our kids.”

Ian then went on to slam reports and rumors going on about his and Erin‘s relationship.

“It has come to my attention that things are being written and said to sensationalize a situation that is simply not sensational,” Ian continued. “Any quote attributed to me is completely false and solely meant by haters to undermine our intention to continue to get along, protect and raise our daughters, and be examples of successful co-parents.”

Ian concluded: “We ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time as we focus on what is important to us, our girls. Peace and love, Ian.”

Ian and Erin married in 2010 and share two daughters, Mia, 8, and Penna, 6.

The 42-year-old actress was joined by her co-star Ian Ziering and his wife Erin, as well as their two daughters – Penna Mae Ziering, 5, and Mia Loren Ziering, 7.

Also in attendance was Tara and Ian‘s cast mate Cassie Scerbo, and the film’s director Anthony C. Ferrante and writer Thunder Levin.

Tiffani Thiessen had tons of support at her event over the weekend!

The 43-year-old actress was joined by former co-stars Mario Lopez, Ian Ziering, and their families as she hosted a Num Noms event on Sunday afternoon (July 30) at Au Fudge in West Hollywood, Calif.

Mario and wife Courtney brought their cute kids – Gia, 6, and Dominic, 3 – while Ian coupled up with wife Erin. Tiffani was also supported at the event by her 7-year-old daughter Harper.

Tiffani starred in Saved by the Bell with Mario in the early 1990s before joining Ian in Beverly Hills 90210 several years later.

FYI: Tiffani is wearing a B Collection by Bobeau top and carrying a Senreve clutch.

Ian Ziering and his wife, Erin, are parents to a newborn baby girl!

Mia Loren Ziering was born at 10:09 p.m. on Monday (April 25) in Los Angeles, People reports.

“Well, it’s official, I’m a dad!,” Ian wrote on his Facebook page. “As I sit holding Mia, Erin sleeps the most beautiful sleep. My thoughts race with visions of a brighter future, only made possible by what happens today… or, last night! God bless us all.”
