'Spring Baking Championship' Season 10 - Premiere Date, Host & 3 Celebrity Chef Judges Revealed!

Spring Baking Championship is back!

The hit Food Network cooking competition TV series will return with Season 10 on Monday (March 4) at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The show will be hosted by Jesse Palmer for the second year in a row!

In the show, a dozen talented bakers battle to create the best desserts possible. Episodes will include challenges related to Earth Day, Jazz Fest, the Spring equinox and Derby Day.

The winner will take home $25,000 and the title of Spring Baking Champion.

The show will kick off with a two-hour premiere, in which bakers will be challenged to create sweet treats inspired by a tropical Spring break using ingredients and flowers from vacation locales, via TheWrap.

New episodes will premiere weekly on Food Network. The season will conclude with a two-part finale all about weddings: on April 29, the two bottom bakers will go head-to-head in a “something borrowed” challenge with borrowed recipes from other bakers, followed by the final episode on May 6, in which the final three bakers design a dream wedding cake inspired by stained glass.

Food Network is introducing a new competition!

Their new series, 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, will feature 24 chefs taking on 24 food challenges in 24 consecutive hours, via Variety.

The show is being hosted by Food Network stars and chefs Michael Symon and Esther Choi, and is being described as the network’s “most ambitious and grueling culinary competition to date.”

New Details Revealed About Why Valerie Bertinelli Was Let Go From Food Network's 'Kids Baking Championship'

Valerie Bertinelli was let go from Kids Baking Championship on Food Network after co-hosting and judging on the series since 2015.

And while she spoke out about the situation over the weekend, new details are emerging about the circumstances that led to her dismissal.

According to a report from Variety, the decision was actually due to the aftermath of the channel deciding not to renew her larger exclusive deal with the network when it ended in 2022.

Valerie Bertinelli Let Go From Food Network's 'Kids Baking Championship' After Nearly a Decade, Alleged Reason Why Revealed

Valerie Bertinelli was let go from her gig on Food Network‘s Kids Baking Championship over the weekend, and a new report suggests that stalled talks led to the dismissal.

A source close to the show’s production tells People that when the 63-year-old star’s last contract ended, returning to Kids Baking Championship was “absolutely discussed” but her team “decided they wanted more and talks stalled.”

A second source said: “Her deal was up, and [Food Network] chose not to renew. They did not make a new offer, but Valerie very much wanted to continue.”
