Gary Sinise's Son Mac Has Passed Away at 33

Gary Sinise has shared the devastating news that his son Mac has passed away.

McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise died on January 5, 2024 after battling a rare form of cancer for over five years.

Gary opened up about the loss in a blog post on he Gary Sinise Foundation’s website, in which he revealed that Mac recorded an album in the months leading up to his death.

'13 Reasons Why' Debuts Trailer for Fourth & Final Season - Watch!

The trailer for the fourth and final season of 13 Reasons Why is here.

The hit Netflix series will premiere a new season for the final time on June 5 on the streaming service.

The showrunner revealed why Season 4 was the perfect place to end the series.

KJ Apa Joins Britt Robertson & Shania Twain at 'I Still Believe' Premiere

KJ Apa hits the red carpet with Britt Robertson and Shania Twain at the I Still Believe premiere on Saturday evening (March 7) at the ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, Calif.

Joining the stars at the premiere were fellow cast members Melissa Roxburgh and Gary Sinise.

Also in attendance were KJ‘s Riverdale co-stars Charles Melton and Casey Cott. During the premiere, Charles had some fun by picking up KJ while they jokingly posed for photos.

KJ stars as Christian music star Jeremy Camp and the flick follows his remarkable journey of love and loss, proving there is always hope in the midst of tragedy and that faith tested is the only faith worth sharing.

Patricia Heaton Wants Gary Sinise to Be Person of the Year

Time magazine named “The Guardians” and the “War on Truth” the Person of the Year for 2018, but Everybody Loves Raymond actress Patricia Heaton has a suggestion for someone else who should be recognized.

One day before the magazine announced the selection, Patricia threw her support behind fellow actor Gary Sinise getting the honor.

“Hey @TIME , why isn’t @GarySinise ever on the Person of the Year list? Hey @TheAcademy , why isn’t he ever picked for the #jeanhersholt humanitarian award? He raises $30M a year to build homes for wounded vets along with his #goldstarfamily support. Retweet!” she tweeted.

Gary launched the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011 to support veterans, first responders, and their family members.

Gary Sinise Signs On to Lead 'Criminal Minds' Spinoff

Gary Sinise has just signed on to star in a Criminal Minds spinoff, according to Deadline!

The 59-year-old actor will play Jack Garrett, “a twenty-year veteran of the Bureau, who is currently in charge of the FBI’s top team for handling cases involving Americans abroad.”

The spinoff will center “on a division of the FBI that helps American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad.”

In case you don’t remember, Gary was starring on CSI: NY until it was cancelled after nine seasons in 2013.

CBS Cancels 'CSI: NY' After 9 Seasons, 'Vegas' Ending Too

Sad news for all fans of the long-running series CSI: NY – it has been canceled by CBS after nine seasons on the air.

The show, which most recently starred Gary Sinise and Sela Ward, ended its ninth season back in February. It was the third series in the CSI franchise, which now is only represented on television by the original.

If you still want to catch episodes of the show on TV, you can watch repeats during the daytime on Spike TV and in the evening on TNT.

It is also being reported that Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis‘ freshman series Vegas is coming to an end as well.

Other shows getting the axe on CBS include Rules of Engagement and Theo JamesGolden Boy.
