Jenny Slate and Charlie Day hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new movie, I Want You Back, held at ROW DTLA, in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (February 8).

The two actors were joined by their co-stars in the flick including Manny Jacinto, Clark Backo, Gina Rodriguez, and Scott Eastwood, as well as Giselle Torres, Dylan Gelula, Mason Gooding, and Quinn Cooke.

Manny‘s wife Dianne Dion, and Charlie‘s wife, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, were also seen at the premiere.

I Want You Back centers on Peter (Day) and Emma (Slate), who thought they were on the precipice of life’s biggest moments – marriage, kids, and houses in the suburbs – until their respective partners dumped them.

Horrified to learn that the loves of their lives have already moved on, Peter and Emma hatch a hilarious plan to win back their exes with unexpected results.

The movie will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, February 11.

Gina Rodriguez stars in the thrilling debut trailer for Awake, Netflix‘s newest thriller.

The film is set to hit the streaming service on June 9.

Jenny Slate and Gina Rodriguez have been cast in a brand new project together called I Want You Back.

The two actresses will star alongside Charlie Day, Scott Eastwood, Clark Backo, and Manny Jacinto in the Amazon Studios project, Deadline reports.

The film follows Emma (Slate) and Peter (Day) who thought they were on the precipice of life’s biggest moments – marriage, kids, and houses in the suburbs – until their respective partners dumped them.

In their thirties and terrified that they have missed their shot at happily ever after, Emma and Peter are horrified to learn that their partners have already moved on.

With no prospects on the horizon and the threat of dying alone hanging over their heads, they hatch a desperate plan to put an end to their exes’ new relationships and win them back.

Jason Orley will direct the film.

“I immediately fell in love with Isaac [Aptaker] and Elizabeth [Berger]’s funny, heartfelt script and I am so honored that they, along with the amazing team at Amazon are allowing me to bring their timeless love story to life and that I get to do it with such an incredible group of actors,” he said in a statement.

Netflix’s Dash & Lily features a little cameo from Gina Rodriguez in the most inventive way.

The 36-year-old former Jane The Virgin star, according to TVLine, will be part of the series as a voice in a movie inside the limited series.

The site reports that Collation is being billed as a “fake Pixar film” and is an animated office romance between a stapler and a blank sheet of paper.

The film pops up all throughout the show with advertisements all over the city. Lily, played by Midori Francis, even mentions that she loves when the highlighter, who is voiced by Gina, and she encourages the stapler to “Be bold!”

Executive producer Joe Tracz shared that Gina was really excited to be involved.

“Brad Silberling, one of our producers who also directed the first two episodes, was also a producer and director on Jane the Virgin,” Joe explained. “So he was like, ‘You know, I think I could get Gina to do it.’ He reached out her, she was like, ‘Totally!’ and she recorded a bunch of different takes of the line. It was so much fun to actually get to pay off one of these writers’ room jokes that we had.”
