GoldLink took to Instagram on Tuesday night (November 26) to share an open letter to the late Mac Miller and he’s facing a lot of backlash for it.

In the letter, GoldLink accused Mac of copying his album And After That, We Didn’t Talk for his album The Divine Feminine. He noted how they both featured collaborations with Anderson .Paak on their albums.

Anderson was not happy about the post and took to Instagram to share a since-deleted message for GoldLink.

“I would imagine yo weird ass posted up somewhere just like this when you decided to make that disrespectful, narcissistic, jealous grossly unnecessary post. Why you would do it I can’t even understand It. maybe your belt was wrapped around your Gotdamn waist too tight or maybe it was the choker cutting the circulation off to the brain,” Anderson wrote in his post.

GoldLink is expressing his frustration with the Grammys.

The 26-year-old Diaspora rapper posted a candid reaction to the 2020 Grammys nominations on Wednesday (November 20).

“Honestly, its f–k Grammys til the day I die. I am no longer participating in that wild ass slave ass political ass cheating ass game any longer. The lack of relevance you have just solidified today is unbelievable,” he wrote.

“Tyler [The Creator] got one f–kin nomination in a category he didn’t even participate in knowing damn well he deserved album of the year. Burna Boy deserves more, Koffee deserves more. DaBaby couldn’t ‘qualify’ for best new artist apparently because he had ‘mixtapes’ in the past. No nod to Solange for taking a risk pushing the boundaries when nobody else was brave enough to do so. There’s not even a category for internationally black artist at all. Wtf do you think these kids learn when you tell them there black art isn’t good enough? Or isn’t noticed at all? I’ve just gotten to a point after three years of being silent on this topic, that my value is much beyond what closed door establishments have been giving us. Even how our peers are voting against us. I cannot partake.”

Christina Aguilera just released a brand new track called “Like I Do” with Goldlink, which you can listen to right here!

The song is the latest off of Christina‘s upcoming studio album, Liberation.
