Chrissy Metz is clarifying reports about her breakup from Hal Rosenfeld, which was just reported last week.

In actuality, Chrissy said the split happened almost two years ago!

Chrissy took to her Instagram Story to post a photo of an article that reported her breakup last week to further explain to fans.

“For the record, we actually broke up almost two years ago… can’t believe everything you read. #LateToTheParty,” Chrissy clarified.

We first found out about Chrissy and Hal‘s relationship back in November of 2018.

The last photos we have of them together are from January of 2019. They reportedly were at the Mulan premiere together in March of 2020.

Chrissy Metz and Hal Rosenfeld are no longer together.

The This Is Us actress and the composer have called it off, Page Six reported on Friday (August 21).

“We’re told that Metz is in indeed back on the market and ready to date again,” the outlet reported.

The two had reportedly dated since late 2018, and made a red carpet appearance together for the first time at the 2019 Golden Globes.

Here’s what she said about how she met her boyfriend a year ago.

Chrissy recently released a breakup song called “Actress.”

“I love a good break up song and I love the play on words. Obviously, I’m an actress, but we have all had those experiences where we put on that brave face when our heart is just broken, we act as if nothing is wrong even though you’re dying inside- wanting something so desperately you don’t have anymore,” she said of the release.

Sterling was joined by his wife Ryan Michelle Bathe, Justin was joined by wife Chrishell and Chrissy made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Hal Rosenfeld.

The trio took the stage to present the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series in the Musical or Comedy category.

The Golden Globes will air on NBC and the broadcast kicked off at 8pm EST/5pm PST. Make sure to tune in!

Chrissy Metz reportedly has a new man in her life!

The 38-year-old This Is Us actress is dating composer Hal Rosenfeld, according to Us Weekly.

“They’ve been dating for a few months now. He is such a sweet guy and everyone around Chrissy really likes him,” an insider told the mag. “He adores her and she is really into him as well.”

Chrissy recently confirmed that she is off the market and sources spotted her and Hal, 25, holding hands during a date night in Hollywood this past weekend. He also joined her during a NYC press trip recently, as seen in the photo gallery.
