Bethenny Frankel Returns to Reality TV with HBO Max Series 'The Big Shot with Bethenny' - Watch the Trailer!

Bethenny Frankel is back!

On Wednesday (April 21), HBO Max released the trailer for the 50-year-old reality star and businesswoman’s new business competition series, The Big Shot with Bethenny.

The upcoming eight-episode series follows aspiring moguls as they compete for a chance to become Bethenny‘s Vice President of Operations for her Skinnygirl brand.

“I need somebody to run this goddamn circus,” Bethenny says in the trailer, after explaining that the ideal candidate will have a strong grasp on e-commerce, licensing, and social media.

“These projects are designed to put someone to the test,” Bethenny adds. “Let the games begin.”

Bethenny‘s new HBO Max series comes nearly two years after she announced that she was leaving Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City for the second time.

The Big Shot with Bethenny will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, April 29.

Dove Cameron & Jordan Fisher to Reunite for HBO Max Movie Based on Popular YA Novel!

Dove Cameron and Jordan Fisher are teaming up again for a new movie!

The former Liv & Maddie co-stars will be working together again for an upcoming HBO Max movie, Field Notes on Love, according to Deadline.

The movie will be based on the YA romance novel of the same name by Jennifer E. Smith, who is writing the movie with Gilmore GirlsLauren Graham.

Here is the official synopsis: “In Field Notes on Love, Hugo is dumped by his girlfriend before their long-planned romantic train trip across America. She leaves him with the tickets, which are nontransferable, booked under her name. Meanwhile, Mae is reeling from being rejected from USC’s film school. When she stumbles across Hugo’s ad for a replacement, she’s certain it’s exactly the adventure she needs to shake off her disappointment and jump-start her next film. A cross-country train trip with a complete stranger might not seem like the best idea. But to Mae and Hugo, both eager to escape their regular lives, it makes perfect sense. What starts as a convenient arrangement soon turns into something more. However, life outside the train catches up with the duo, and they must contend with not derailing their feelings for each other.”

Dove is currently filming the Powerpuff Girls pilot for The CW and she also just dropped her new song “LazyBaby.” Jordan was most recently seen in the Netflix movies To All the Boys: P.S. I Still love You and Work It.

'Friends' Cast Wrap Filming Their Upcoming HBO Max Reunion Special!

And that’s a wrap!

The official Friends Instagram account shared a photo on Saturday night (April 10) announcing the upcoming reunion special has wrapped filming.

“That’s a wrap! 🎬 Could we BE anymore excited!? Friends: The Reunion is coming to @hbomax. #friendsreunion,” the account wrote along with the below photo.

The entire cast – Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc – all returned to the original Stage 24 soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, Calif. to film the special.

As of right now, details for the Friends reunion special have been kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that the cast will be reminiscing about their time together on the show, which premiered over 25 years ago.

The unscripted Friends special is set to debut on HBO Max some time later this year. Stay tuned for the release date!

Channing Tatum to Produce 'Magic Mike' Dance Competition Show at HBO Max

A Magic Mike TV show is coming to HBO Max!

The streaming service has ordered an unscripted competition series based on the 2012 movie, per THR.

The series, which will be called The Real Magic Mike, will follow 10 men who have “lost their magic” as they compete for a cash prize and a chance to perform at the Magic Mike Live stage show in Las Vegas.

According to an official summary of the show, the contestants “will bare their souls and more as they evolve their bodies, learn to perform spectacular routines, and develop a new level of self-confidence. As they strip off their clothes, they will rid themselves of emotional baggage and regain their mojo, but only one will be the Real Magic Mike.”

The film’s original star Channing Tatum as well as director Steven Soderbergh and screenwriter Reid Carolin are set to produce the show.

HBO Max head of original content Sarah Aubrey said in a statement, “From box office hits to sold-out live shows, Magic Mike has proven to be a pop culture juggernaut that continues to delight people across the globe. We’re excited to work with Channing, Steven and the team behind Magic Mike Live to continue this successful franchise that celebrates self-confidence and sexiness both inside and out.”

HBO Max Orders 1970s Adult Magazine Series 'Minx' With Jake Johnson & Ophelia Lovibond

Jake Johnson has signed on to star opposite Ophelia Lovibond in Minx on HBO Max.

The 1970s set drama will center around an earnest young feminist (Lovibond) who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women.

The two will be joined on the series by Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya, Variety reports.

The half-hour comedy series will consist of 10 episodes, helmed by Ellen Rapoport and executive produced by Paul Feig and Dan Magnante.

Ellen shared in a statement about the series moving forward, “I’m so grateful to Feigco, Lionsgate and HBO Max for seeing the potential in this story from the first time I showed up in their offices with stacks of 70s porn magazines.”

She added, “Making Minx with our ridiculously talented cast was a dream come true and I’m just thrilled that I get to do it again.”
