One of Hugh Hefner‘s former girlfriends is breaking her silence after his passing.

Kendra Wilkinson released a statement through E! News mourning her loss.

“Hef changed my life,” Kendra said. “He made me the person I am today. I couldn’t be more thankful for our friendship and our time together. I will miss him so much but he will be in my heart forever.”

Kendra was one of Hef‘s girlfriends along with Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt from 2004 to 2009 and starred on the reality show The Girls Next Door which followed their lives at the Playboy Mansion. Kendra and Hef remained close friends after their breakup.

Celebrities are mourning the loss of Hugh Hefner tonight.

Paris Hilton, Rob Lowe, Gene Simmons, and tons of other stars are taking to Twitter to remember the magazine mogul after he passed away at the age of 91.

Hugh‘s son Connor released a statement confirming his dad’s passing, saying “He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one of the most recognizable and enduring in history.”

Hugh Hefner has died at the age of 91 years old, Playboy confirmed in a press release on Wednesday (September 27).

Hugh launched Playboy magazine in 1953, which became an iconic global brand.

“My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights and sexual freedom. He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one of the most recognizable and enduring in history. He will be greatly missed by many, including his wife Crystal, my sister Christie and my brothers David and Marston, and all of us at Playboy Enterprises,” his son Cooper Hefner said in a statement.

Hugh peacefully passed away due to natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.

The former girlfriend of the Playboy magazine founder took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message “celebrating” Hugh‘s 91st birthday.

Back in the early 2000s, Kendra found fame as one of Hugh‘s girlfriends along with Holly Madison.

In 2009, Kendra moved out of the Playboy mansion and met her husband Hank Baskett.

Since then, Kendra and Hugh have remained very close and she has continuously thanked Hugh for the impact he’s had on her life.

“Happy birthday Hef!! Thank you for EVERYTHING. People might not understand you but that’s because they’ve never had the chance to know you like I do. I’ll celebrate you forever!!!” Kendra captioned the below pic of herself with Hugh.

Hugh Hefner‘s 25-year-old son Cooper Hefner is the Chief Creative Officer of Playboy and he’s giving fans an update on his dad’s health.

“He’s doing fine,” Cooper said in an interview with E! News. “My dad has always made the joke that if the mansion was your house, why would you want to leave?”

Hugh doesn’t play as big of a role in the business these days, but at age 90, he deserves a break!

“I think because he has stepped back from the day to day operations of the business, people have thought that his health was not very good,” Cooper added. “The reality is he has a really bad back�”that happens when you’re 90�”and he is enjoying life at the mansion.”

Hugh Hefner is setting the record straight after reports surfaced that he had passed away.

According to TMZ, law enforcement rushed to the 90-year-old Playboy founder’s mansion after hearing the reports.

After personally confirming with officers that he was still alive, Hugh took to his Twitter to quip back at reports.

“I wish the tabloids had informed me a little earlier in the week that I’m sick. I might have cancelled my weekend plans,” he joked.

Hugh also added a photo alongside his wife Crystal Hefner as the couple watched a movie together, writing, “Tonight’s Mansion movie is the classic western, ‘Shane.’”
