Not every actor likes to see themselves on the big screen – but some don’t even like to remember that they participated in a production altogether.

Over the years, many different stars have revealed in various magazine interviews and through assorted podcast and TV appearances that they don’t always love the movie and TV roles they took on in the past…even if the roles might be some of their most iconic and memorable works to date.

Sometimes, the stars have doubts about their performance. Or, they had poor experiences with their co-stars or directors. And in other cases, they just decided that the script wasn’t all that good looking back. In any case, they’ve all since come out and said they don’t necessarily love their appearances in certain films and TV shows.

Rege-Jean Page, Zoe Saldana, and Sydney Sweeney were among the stars who stepped out to celebrate the unveiling of RH England, The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park.

The stars joined RH Chairman & CEO Gary Friedman at the event last weekend in Aynho Park, England.

More celebs in attendance included Idris Elba, Michelle Dockery, Jourdan Dunn, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Zoe was joined by her husband Marco Perego and Gary was joined by his fiancee Bella Hunter.

RH England, The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park, which is a 73-acre estate, marks the “beginning of the retailer’s global expansion and represents the most inspiring and immersive physical expression of the brand to date. Spanning over 60 rooms, this unrivaled experience seamlessly integrates luxury home furnishings collections from RH Interiors, Contemporary, Modern and Outdoor with rare art, antiques and artifacts from across the globe.”

Hang onto your seats, for a seven-part thriller Hijack, starring Idris Elba.

The 50-year-old Luther actor is a passenger on a hijacked airplane told in real-time on a seven hour flight.

Idris stars as Sam Nelson, “an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers.”

Teyana Taylor brings some color to the red carpet in a fun paint-splattered look for Gucci’s Meatpacking Boutique Grand Opening event in New York City on Saturday night (April 29).

The 32-year-old musician was joined by so many other stars at the event, including Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sienna Miller, Beanie Feldstein and her fiancee, Bonnie Chance Roberts, Christopher Meloni, Chris Rock, and the Pinault family – François-Henri, wife Salma Hayek Pinault, and their daughter, Valentina.

Idris Elba and his wife, Sabrina, Iman, Jerrod Carmichael, Olivia DeJonge, Phoebe Bridgers, Tom Sturridge, Lala Anthony and Harris Dickinson, were also spotted inside.

The one-night only event brought back some nostaglia to the Meatpacking nightlife with host, Bungalow 8 founder Amy Sacco.

Guests enjoyed food that paid a nod to the original Bungalow 8 menu, and the decor was inspired by Gucci’s newest New York retail presence.

Music was provided by Idris, as well as Memphy.

So many celebs were in attendance at The Prince’s Trust Global Gala just days ahead of the 2023 Met Gala.

Kate Beckinsale, Idris Elba, and Rita Ora were just some of the stars who stepped out for the gala event on Thursday night (April 27) at Cipriani South Street in New York City.

British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, who is the Prince’s Trust Global Ambassador, served as chair of the event.

“Since I took on my role as Global Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, I’ve been constantly inspired by the stories I’ve heard from Prince’s Trust alumni. It’s been exciting to see the Trust’s work grow around the world, now in the United States, but also in my home country of Ghana,” he said in a statement.

Rita, who is also a global ambassador, performed a set which included the first-ever performance of her new single “Praising You.”

More attendees included Eiza Gonzalez, Sienna Miller, Iman, Kate Moss, Doja Cat, and others.

Idris Elba shows off his musical abilities by hopping into the DJ booth to spin some hits during Hyde Beach’s Miami Music Week pool party at the SLS Hotel on Saturday (March 25) in Miami, Florida.

The 50-year-old Luther star took the stage and played music from an elevated platform while masked dancers performed in front of him.

Idris Elba is hitting the beach!

The 50-year-old Luther actor joined his wife, Sabrina, to spend some downtime at the beach in Miami, Fla., on Thursday (March 24) afternoon.

The couple were joined by a pal as they spent the afternoon soaking up the sun on the sand, in between his performances at the Ultra Music Festival in the city.

Idris is performing three sets at the music festival, which has been going all week long. Check out the full schedule here!

Fans of Idris should recall that he is actually a DJ, and even performed at this royal wedding.

“This wasn’t like my cousin’s wedding,” he shared about the gig. “This was like, you know, this wasn’t at the community hall, the reception. This was, like a big, big deal.”
