'To All The Boys' Actor Israel Broussard Apologizes for Past 'Insensitive' Tweets

Israel Broussard is apologizing for some of his old resurfaced tweets.

The 24-year-old actor – who stars in the new Netflix movie To All The Boys I’ve Ever Loved - took to Twitter on Tuesday night (August 21) to apologize for his “insensitive” actions on social media.

“I am deeply sorry for my inappropriate and insensitive words and likes on social media. I take full responsibility for my actions and I sincerely apologize. This has been a pivotal life lesson for me. I am dedicated to becoming a more informed and educated version of myself. – Israel,” Israel tweeted.

Some of the controversial tweets Israel posted involved calling the Black Lives Matter movement a “Division” while he also liked posts saying that the Sandy Hook massacre was “staged” to “traumatize” and “disarm the public.”

Israel Broussard, Janel Parrish, Lana Condor, Anna Cathcart, and Noah Centineo hit the red carpet at the special screening and after-party held at Arclight Cinemas Culver City on Thursday (August 16) in Culver City, Calif.

They were joined by their co-stars Andrew Bachelor, Emilija Baranac, Jordan Burtchett, Trezzo Mahoro, director Susan Johnson, and Jenny Han, who wrote the best-selling YA novel the film is based on.

Casper Smart, Rebecca Black, and Alex and Maia Shibutani also stepped out to show their support.

Here’s the synopsis: What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once? Lara Jean Song Covey’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control when the love letters for every boy she’s ever loved-five in all-are mysteriously mailed out.

'Happy Death Day' Sequel Confirmed, Jessica Rothe to Star!

Jessica Rothe has been confirmed to star in a sequel to her hit horror movie Happy Death Day!

The Blumhouse movie will also bring back Israel Broussard as her boyfriend Carter.

Joining the cast are Life of Pi actor Suraj Sharma as Samar Ghosh, a science enthusiast and geek who enjoys coding in his spare time, and Sarah Yarkin as Dre Morgan, a science geek and tom-boy with a sleepy feline gaze who is Samar’s partner-in-crime, according to Deadline.

Production on the sequel is set to begin on May 10.

For all you horror film fans out there…Happy Death Day is set to hit theaters on Friday the 13th, and fans want to know if they should stay in their seats for a post-credits scene.

Sources tell us that nothing happens once the credits roll, so you can leave when the movie’s over!

The film is about a college student (Jessica Rothe), who relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity. Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken, and Laura Clifton also star.

Jessica Rothe and Ruby Modine are all smiles while hanging out at the after party for the Happy Death Day world premiere on Wednesday (October 4) in Universal City, Calif.

The ladies were joined at the event by co-stars Israel Broussard, Rachel Matthews, Rob Mello, Phi Vu, and Blaine Kern III, as well as director Christopher Landon and producer Jason Blum.

The premiere for the new horror film took place at Universal CityWalk and guests got to check the “Horrors of BlumHouse” maze at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, which features an entire Happy Death Day section.

Happy Death Day follows a college student (Rothe) who relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity. The film hits theaters on Friday, October 13!

Vanessa Hudgens is kicking off Halloween early this year!

The 28-year-old actress blew a kiss to the cameras while attending the Halloween Horror Nights Opening Night Red Carpet at Universal Studios Hollywood on Friday (September 15) in Universal City, Calif.

She went goth chic with her “Frankenhooker” t-shirt, red-trimmed tights, and chunky boots, giving off total ’90s vibes with her black choker and beanie.

She was joined by Ruby Modine, Israel Broussard, Wilmer Valderrama, Mason Cook, Lindsay Arnold, Frank Grillo, Jordan Fisher, and It‘s Wyatt Oleff and Chosen Jacobs.
