South Korean superstars are bringing the heat with their releases in January, including some incredible girl group offerings like Itzy, (G)-Idle, SISTAR19 and NMIXX, solo efforts from stars like Kyuhyun and boy bands, like the new act TWS.

The South Korean K-pop girl group wrapped up their first-ever worldwide concert tour, the Checkmate World Tour, on Sunday night (November 13) at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The girls of ITZY are opening up about their latest smash!

The K-Pop girl group joined The Chart Show with Brooke Reese on Apple Music 1 on Thursday (May 6).

Here’s what they had to say…

Ryujin, on the themes of their new era: “This EP, Guess Who, we are exploring a more deeper and more darker concept than the previous album. As you know, the base is confidence, but a little deeper and darker.”

ITZY is one of the hottest acts on the Korean pop scene – and we’re so excited to give our Just Jared readers a chance to know them even better.

After exploding onto the charts globally with their debut single “Dalla Dalla” in 2019, the K-pop girl group has only continued to impress with their charming and powerful personalities and infectious hits, including “Icy” and “Wannabe.”

Most recently, the girls dropped the music video for their confident and catchy end-of-summer banger “Not Shy,” the title track from their brand new mini-album of the same name, which finds the group chasing down a truck driver in hot pursuit of some yummy desserts, and delivering some incredible choreography while doing so.

Itzy is heading out across America!

The popular South Korean girl group – made up of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna – will embark on ITZY? ITZY! IN USA, their first stateside tour, beginning in 2020.

Itzy will hit five cities across the United States: Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Houston, Washington D.C. and New York City.

Tickets for the tour go on-sale on Saturday (November 16) at 10 a.m. at the venue’s local time. For all ticket information, click here.

The rookie girl group initially debuted earlier in 2019 with their single album It’z Different, including “Dalla Dalla,” which broke the record for most viewed K-pop debut music video within 24 hours.

ITZY is here to deliver an “ICY” treat this summer!

The much-buzzed about rising South Korean girl group debuted the music video for their brand new single on Sunday (July 28).

The group first debuted back in February of 2019 with their Billboard No. 2 World Digital Song Sales hit “Dalla Dalla,” and consists of five members: Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. They’re a part of JYP Entertainment, responsible for major acts like Got7 and Twice.

The song is part of the girl group’s mini-album released on the same day, It’z Icy.
